yeah, Buc, I guess I'm just not making the connection between a statement like that and expecting the team to compete on a national level every year.

I would be over joyed with 1/1/1981, but I would be happy with competence from the coaching staff. No one wins it all every year even with cheating. Being competitive is not too much to ask given the talent level.

You are right on. That is what this is all about. Folks on this board know that we have talent, have had forever. Players are not the reason many UGA fans want change and are grumbling, it is and has been the lack of direction and knowledge from those above them.

The person that was once the supposed leader of our football coaches putting on a big front on campus and around the media, then as you say, makes that trip to Atlanta to shop for some "red panties". Small wonder along that time we were having a lot of player problems. Can't control everything or everyone, but . . . . was the effort being made when the program started to decline, I wonder.

Personally feel with the exception of a couple of folks, the university could use a major overhaul. Starting at the top. Meaning administration.

Resignation to mediocrity is not an option.
I think all of us would agree to that except for one poster who I suspect delights in our failures.
I won't mention names but his posts seem to be self centered and always negative.
