So before anyone on here asks:

1953 3-8-0 Butts
1955 4-6-0 Butts
1956 3-6-1 Butts
1957 3-7-0 Butts
1958 4-6-0 Butts
1961 3-7-0 Griffith
1962 3-4-3 Griffith
1963 4-5-1 Griffith
1969 5-5-1 Dooley
1970 5-5-0 Dooley
1974 6-6-0 Dooley
1977 5-6-0 Dooley
1989 6-6-0 Goff
1990 4-7 Goff
1993 5-6 Goff
1995 6-6 Goff
1996 5-6 Donnan

So CMR has yet to own a losing or tie season but some of the most revered UGA coaches did, ...it was history then but now its ?????

Getdown11, the first line in your post leads me to ask this question.

Where do you come up with the number of years that UGA should continue at the current pace?

Not nipping at your heels, just sounds a lot like some of the comments coming out of Washington about pulling out of Afganistan in x amount of time.

Just asking, don't really think I am nuts, however, have been accused of such more than once in my life.

If I have a choice of coaches, which I don't, think I would choose Saban over Richt.

You guys are nuts for calling for CMR's head. I know I'm probably going take a lot of flak for this but I'm with Richt for at least another 2 seasons.

After reading the above again, I draw from your statement that you are willing to stay on this path for more than 2 years, you did say at least . . .

oledawg, with all due respect............
It's not a valid comparison.
There is no longer a window for mediocrity.
The most frustrating thing about it all is we do not play as a team.
It is a downward spiral of losing excuses promulgated by a nice guy who has lost the ability to lead.
If this were combat, we'd all be dead.

Not relevant to college football today. You may accept mediocre performance, but I do not.

So by your measure because we do not suck as bad as we have in the past everything is OK?

Richt has lost the team. He is soft and everyone knows it now.

Dooley said after a losing season that he and his staff needed to re focus and regain intensity after successful seasons became the norm and expectation. I see similarities here.
