Well KD I'm sorry but your argument sounds a whole lot like opinion. So I will have to respectfully disagree. I will say while Willie was there that the defensive side of the ball suffered a bunch. Not like Erk or BVG would have run it. That said we can agree to disagree.
The thing is I provide data to support my opinion. Who hired Martinez? Martinez is gone and the defense is still soft? What remained the same? Richts teams have been undisciplined from the beginning. Whose fault is that? Who is the boss?
I have never been nor will I ever be a sunshine dawg, you take the highs and lows and move on. I was there when we lost to Vandy, not pretty at all. I was there when Shock went down and JTIII kept going 3 and out. I was there when we spotted WVU 28 and got fooled on a fake punt at the end of the game. (Rodriguez got lucky cause they could not stop us at the end of the game)I was there when we lost to Auburn in a turnover game with a little help from the officials and a perfect pass from Cox to the tight end that Greg was late on coverage. I've seen the good and the bad, so until CMR's over all performance goes to heck I'm still in his corner.
My guess is maybe you are just a less analytical fan. It is funny you mention the fake punt by Rodriguez in that bowl game. To you I am sure it was a ballsy call out of the blue. The reality is Rodriguez had used that same odd ball punt formation twice earlier in the game and gotten 5 yard penalties both times. The third time went perfectly and R-Rod set us up. I knew before the fake it was going to be a fake. I knew after the first odd ball formation that something was up. You can go back and re-watch the game if you do not believe me.
