You guys are nuts for calling for CMR's head. I know I'm probably going take a lot of flak for this but I'm with Richt for at least another 2 seasons.

Call me a sunshine pumper all you want. I'm not going blow smoke up anyone's butt here. This season is going to be a tough one to be a Dawg fan.

I think its funny that on this board I've heard people wax poetic about player and coach loyalty then turn around and see people blame AJ Green for costing us a season for selling a damn jersey and calling for the heads of pretty much every coach on the staff to be mounted on a spike at the front gates of Sanford as soon as the going gets tough.

I will be the first to admit that yes the program has problems. The D is a sieve right now. The secondary is weak. The saftey play especially. Rambo needed to be benched 2 weeks ago. That kid doesn't know his assignments and can't tackle for crap. I keep hearing that we have all these monster recruits and should be better. I agree with that but also recognize that these recruits are never sure things. Right now the D is busted. Fact is we don't have the personnel to run it. We don't have a big run stopping NG. Our linebacking corp doesn't have the speed to play man coverage. Rebuilding this thing is going to be much harder than I think anyone expected.

The offense played better today with AJ back. Plain and simple he is a game changing player. I'm even willing to bet that the run game opened up today because AJ was on the field. You can't stack the box and play the safties up when a guy like AJ is on the field. I didn't find too many problems with play-calling today. I will admit that we need to open up the middle of the field more. There is no reason Orson Charles should only get maybe 3 or 4 looks all game. We have no intermediate passing game. The Dawgs put up a respectable 27 points on the board and ultimately CU won because they got lucky today. I'll call Bobo out when he deserves it but today I don't think is the day.

Can CMR turn UGA into a perennial football superpower? I don't know. I do believe that this team can be good. I hear us complain about why CMR can't win championships when Meyer, Saban and Miles have. I think that is a totally unfair comparison. Meyer had to have arguably the greatest college QB in the past 20 yrs on his team. Miles got lucky by squeezing into the championship game with 2 losses. Sabans first season at Alabama he lost to UAB I think and finished 7-6. We as fans must put this season into perspective. This is a real rebuilding year for the Dawgs. We may not win many more games this season but I'll keep watching. These are the kinds of seasons that weed out the real fans. It might not be this season but I think CMR can turn this around. He is one of the winningest coaches of the decade. I'm willing to at least give him 2 more seasons to try.

Go Dawgs!!!!

Me too. Ya know its kind of pathetic. Couple of years ago when UGA was the beast of the east, we had different folks then, and CMR was calling the offense, but a kid from Bama got hurt. Guy by the name of Prothro. Real shame, his injury put him out of football. CMR and the UGA team sent him a signed football by the UGA football team and the folks here said in unison that that was a class act. Winning changes everyone's perspective and all is good. Seems we're snake bit this year and everyone is looking for excuses to throw somebody under the bus. Change a few plays this year and we are 5-0. (turnovers, arky pass play) Gotta take the good with the bad so if one is to learn from history the dark of the storm creates motivation for improvement. Last year we went 8-5 and the woe as me came out. This year we are not doing that well and the universe is imploding.

LSU had their run, UF had theirs, now Bama has a run going, so what makes ya'll think we won't. Blame game? Wallow in self pity and throw your party. Try this one, if your kid was on this team or if you were coaching your kid on a pee wee football team what would you say to them if they were 1-4?

WE won't have a run with Richt as coach. He is a weak leader. You guys can spin it all you want, but Richt is a weak leader.

He sure seems to be a nice guy, but nice guys finish where?

The meek shall inherit the Earth, but only after the strong are done having fun.

The problem starts at the top and to not recognize that suggests you guys are slow learners.

I still support UGA Football as always , But They have quit on us, not us on them. I still respect CMR cant believe this has happened. But enough is enough. Its painful to watch this so called team, When half of the guys arent giving 100%. And if my kids were 1-4 and looked like this group I would tell them they might should try and play Baseball. With all due respect to everyone here. I know we are all upset and vent in different ways. especially right after a game. But I believe everyone here is a true Fan.

As soon as the going gets tough? Been several years now.

If we don't have the personnel to run it, maybe we shouldn't be running it?

If you think Bozo is doing well, nothing I can say will change that.

If my kid were on this team, I would tell him that I'm hoping with all my heart that he gets a new coach so he can meet his true potential, and I don't even think comparing a college team to a pee-wee team even deserves a response, although these guys play like a pee wee team sometimes.
