Good read 36869. Lots and lots of spin in the press since college football called it quits for 2013/14.
Reminds me a lot of the young men being recruited. Seems the same applies to coaches as well. Players and coaches going here, there and everywhere. Some deals have been made, but many are still in the hopper.
Do know this . . . . if our head coach returns with a group of defensive coaches in their first year at UGA, he will get roasted from many fronts. He has shown over and over that he does not understand what it takes to make the defense work.
There is someone in Tuscaloosa that does understand both the 4/3 and the 3/4. Has had great results in Tuscaloosa.
What the heck, he was going to take over the Special Teams at one point. Then he was going to get involved in the kicking game. With Mike Bobo running the offense as he has said on numerous occasions, he can turn his full attention to the x's and o's on the defensive side . . . . Yeah, right.
One of the first things that would be guaranteed if Kirby Smart comes on board . . . . top rated player in the State of Georgia, signs, not questions asked.
At this point looking more and more like Lorenzo Carter will play in Tallahassee. A program that has stabilized under their head coach.
Greg McGarity and the head coach dragging their feet. Sad day when the University of Georgia cannot find worthy replacements. However when we look at the way the football program is and has been run under this head coach, not surprising.
