Wart, I am not saying we should retain CMR, but I completely disagree with that statement. CMR took us to a very high level. What was Donnan's record against UT? UF? Only problem is now CMR is bringing us back down.

Not going to try to defend CMR anymore, He failed this last year miserably (Vandy) and has earned not to be the HC, but not going to act like he didn't do some good for our university. Doesn't mean I have to still want him on the sideline. We are starting to sound a little like women. Relationship ends badly so lets act like it was miserable for the whole entire time. Not the case.

Think we all get it. CMR's time has passed. I agree, but no need in rubbing his face in the mud.

We can "think" all we want to think, but the numbers are what the numbers are. The numbers take
subjectivity out of it.

I presented a case of facts..wins and losses. No subjectivity... it's in the record books.


Did I say he didn't do anything for our university? That's not what I said.

I said he wasn't that much better than the one immediately before him, who also helped returing us to
something decent after the lost Goff years.

Did I say our time with Richt was miserable? Did I say he took over a sorry team and it remained sorry?

First, regardless of how he did it, he has played in 5 SEC title games. Also, he whipped up on the BIG FOUR (AU, Tech, UT and UF) as opposed to Donnan, who had a dismal record.

Also, he did finish #2 and #3 in BCS standings over the years.

Donnan's winning % outside of that first year... 73%
Richt's winning percentage 73%
Donnan in bowl games 4-0
Richt in bowl games 8-5, last 5 at 2-3.

Richt did finish #2 and #3.... and he has finished outside the top 20 a few times as well. Other than
that first season, Donnan's teams finished 17th or higher in the coaches poll every season.

Just numbers that are factual, guys.

Yes those things are true..

As well as the things I said.

More true things - Donnan took over a program in complete disarray.

Richt took over a program not in complete disarray.


Nothing anyone has said makes anything I said untrue.
