sadlerdawg wrote: Scooby, if you're going to try to educate forum members with declarative statements, you should probably do a little research on what you're preaching about. Almost everybody on here is in agreement that richt was good for a few years when he got here, but that the game passed him by and he failed to adapt. And for probably the 100th time from a member, it is NOT about the win/loose (sic) thing. Look up any one of about 10,000 posts to see why members want a new coach, having nothing to do with win/loose records.

sadlerdawg, you loose me when you say things about the Dawgs.

Pretty easy to read the tea leaves that form scooby's loosing opinions.

Check your facts scooby, offensive coordinator when the championships were being won richt was not the win/loose coordinator.

Problem that exists is mark richt is loosing games that he should not be loosing. Loosing to Vanderbilt was not acceptable.

Loosing to urban meyer when he was the head coach at Florida is not acceptable.

If mark richt does not change his loosing ways, he should join hands with you and celebrate loosing.

Know what I mean, loosing goes against the grain scooby.

Scooby. Like wlayton said thats why we keep score

If it is not about winning then why be upset with a loss like we did in our bowl game

Or Vandy or Mizzo or let the Nerds take us to OT

Sorry what as been happening is not GEORGIA might go in Lexington but not Athens

Go Dawgs!

Scooby, can you list ONE example of those two men being the same? Hint: you can't say they are hot young assistants, because ALL head coaches at one time were young, and most likely an assistant.

The comparison isn't relevant.

Buc, A friend of mine was laughing about MR not being hired for the UNC-CH job 13 years ago because he came accross as to religious. They hired a guy named John Bunting, then butch Davis, and now Larry Fedora. I think they won 76 football games since then. UGA has won 126 since then.

Who knows what would have happened to UGA or UNC if he had gone to Chapel Hill. They are not the same places, but a lot more similar than differnt. Maybe UGA would have done better? I would bet big UNC would have done better. And Mr Gurley would be wearing baby blue...

And I agree its prolly time for yins to get a new coach. Kind of like with Methodist ministers, its good to get some new blood every so often.
