You know that I am not "messing" with you. Say again, appreciate you "throwing" the Athens dude to the Lions . . . .
scooby, where the hell are you? Discussing Georgia football my friend. I am "messing" with you, but in the spirit of friendship.
Hey, apparantly you guys were under paying your Defensive Leader.
I do think its good for UGA hes moving on and am real surprised he got a 1 mil a year contract.
I remember when he had the altercation with the Vandy coach and some were saying "thats who we need for our Head Coach", a man with fire, hahaha. Ill give you credit Mr Buc, seems like I remember you saying he was suspect long ago.
scooby, have to be truthful. I was one of those that said todd grantham might be a head coach after the altercation in Nashville. I was glad to see something other than a "passive" personality step forward.
Will not make excuses for myself. I was f'ing wrong. Matter of fact wlayton said to me that he thought we needed someone with more "time in service". He said that at the time I made my comment.
Time has a way of evening the playing field, and I will "eat crow" for that one.
Guess I was too upset with the passive attitude that mark richt brought to Athens and continues on the same path.
All of us want the best for our Dawgs. That was four or so years back scooby, can't see where the improvement is.
Four or so years ago, it was said on this board that dumping mark richt would throw our program into "default". I look at the program now and realize that what is going on in Athens is for those that can accept the ways of richt.
Not being ugly, being truthful. Glad that you are reading and responding.
