To get off topic a bit, with the rumblings of geoff Collins as a potential hire, I found this over in Mississippi. Seems like he is a good DC, and had a batter defense than Grantham did. I don't know who is behind this site, but at lweast they want Collins to get a bump in salary. Dudue is only making $291K. Should be easy to bring him home:

Still not one peep from Athens on who will be the next DC? Not even one report of an interview? Don't care how tight-lipped any program is, if a coach is brought in, media knows and shows. A day and a half since the miracle of the CTG relocation, and still nothing. Lorenzo Carter said he would have to see who they bring in. Nonetheless, every day that goes by is another day other colleges are gaining ground.

When someone outside of the loop has to make a suggestion that you run onto the field with the players at the beginning of the game . . . . Little things mean a lot. Sometimes the smallest change makes the biggest difference.

I've always been in the SEC title camp. I don't even worry about the NC.

I figure if we win the SEC everything else takes care of itself.


Donnan didn't win a SEC title in his 5 years. Richt hasn't won one in the last 8 seasons. Wash

Winning percentages basically the same.... bowl performance better under Donnan...


What I wonder with all that and where I was going is this: Why has Richt's performance over the past
5 years warrant him staying, Mr A.D.? Why.. just answer me that. Because a decade ago he was good??

His past 5 years are no different than Donnan's years (other than he beats Tech)

Donnan couldn't beat UT either.... Richt couldn't beat UF for the most part until they just tanked.

Agree AD... how we do things sometimes just seems bizzare. Right now I would guess that we just promote from within.

It's sort of hard to hire from the outside when no one from the outside is coming to be interviewed.
