What it boils down to me is that this was the year I had high expectations. The amount of talent on that football field last night should have produced a win. I said the only way this season was still salvageable in my eyes was a SEC championship win, a BCS bowl bid. Neither will happen. Still not sure who I want to replace Richt. Not sold on smart. Said I would take any coach in the country over Richt, was the anger speaking, but after last night it is quite obvious a change is needed just not sure who as of right now. We traded in Willie for another Willie, don't need to trade in Richt for another Richt. Change is needed the question is who.
Honestly with this loss this is what I see happening at the end of the season. Richt stays granthem returns to the NFL. TG will be used as the scapegoat, not sure if he deserves to be called that, but that's what will happen.
Richt will get another year with a different DC much of how this year went for lane kiffin. If he fails again, and as history as taught us, he will history repeats itself, he will more than likely be gone.
That's how the end of the season looks like to me. I wouldn't keep any coach on this team after last night. Still shocked to see vandy dominating the line of scrimmage ALL game last night. Still shocked that vandy won the game period.
Just hope that whoever replaces Richt knows the importance of recruiting not only nfl talent skill positions, but nfl talent big uglies.
Our offensive line is a joke. Main reason in every single loss we have had at this point. WF and MR are to blame, either piss poor coaching or piss poor recruiting or both.
Been on the fence with Richt for a few years now, saw improvements, now seeing regression.
Some will say injuries, injuries are a factor not the reasons.
The reasons fall on the coaching staff.
