This is a question ogredawg. How is McGarity any different than Richt? You did mention McGarity's name though.

So, the top two in the money making sport are joined at the hip? If that is the case, guess as you say, get used to it.

On the other hand, as I said a few weeks ago, give our talent to one of those coaches and we would have 1 or 2 NC.

Buc, you are right, it is McGarity's call, I hope he makes a change but doubt he will until the football revenue takes a serious hit. Until then we are destined to mediocrity.

I love my dawgs and will never pull for them to lose. I realize that even with a new coaching staff we will not win every game but if and when we lose I want it to be the other team just had their best day and got the breaks needed to win. Not that we were out coached, couldn't tackle, were too busy running a chinese fire drill to cover someone, getting delay of game penalties at the half time break, committing stupid drive extending penalties, playing not to lose, giving away points on special teams. And I could go on.

One thing about the yesteryears of Dooley and Erk I was never embarrassed when we lost. I want that feeling again,

Remember a while back there was a discussion about Mickey and Minney? Better know as ESPN . . . . owned by Disney. Not much conversation, not enough football stuff to interest many.

Back to your second statment. Revenue. SEC's new deal with M&M will provide much needed cash for the empty seats that are soon to follow. Especially with losses like Vandy in Nashville. Simple fact, team loses, revenue falls. That applies to any football program, NFL or college.

Next step, we hear about how good our recruits are for the 2014, February signing. At that point in time, the game against Vandy and others will be forgotten. As you mention, football is not the same anymore, sure miss Erk.

After yesterdays debacle we might just see a lot of those 2014 recruits jumping ship. I'm sorry to say it appears some folks on this board were right all along about UGA playing second fiddle to the top tier teams, in and out of the SEC. The team I saw yesterday could have been beaten by Iowa State, just to name one. I've sat back and watched and kept my mouth shut about this coaching staff,but, the last three weeks have proven that the coaches are'nt in control and are not going to be, there has to be a leader of the pack and we don't have one. I'm tired of the excuses,but thats the Georgia way. No, I was never embarrased by VD after a loss.

Know some are chomping at the bit, but it is time. I have always defender Richt on a year to year basis. He could have been fired after the UCF loss and I wouldn't have complained a whole lot. He deserved to comeback after the last couple of years, just like he deserves to be fired now. Missouri has a bunch of talent. Vandy does not. It's time. Hire KS, keep Bobo, CBM and CTB and bet recruiting will be fine.

I argued to keep CMR after good seasons but I judge on a year by yea basis. He has failed. Time to cut bait
