For some that might not be aware, Jimbo Fisher also coached at LSU for Nick Saban. Folks that have been around Nick Saban seem to do well after moving on.

Do want to add this. Bobby Bowden's problem was not Jimbo Fisher, it was the fat heads in administration. Bowden actually coached Fisher his senior year in college.

It was time for Bowden to leave, could have been handled differently from where I sit.

One more thing if some are not aware. Bobby Bowden coached at South Georgia College in Douglas, Georgia, Coffee County.

Buc Bowden teams in the later years fell to the wayside. He lost the recruiting battles in the later years against UF, Auburn, and Alabama. He was just not getting the players he was getting in the NC championship run years that he had. Boy did he have some players back then, was fun to watch his teams play and being from S. Ga. I saw a lot of FSU football.

The opposite has happend with UGA and Richt. We are getting the players but fail to produce like we should. Again frustration sets in with me when I see so much talent wasted. If all the commits we have this year and get a few more that are on the fence it will be a great class one of the best ever. Sad to be able to recruit but unable to produce with that great recruiting......but as you have said many times we are too heavy on skill players and not heavy enuff on the players that win ball games....the ones in the Trenches.....

At some point the top recruits are going to quit coming when they see the teams issues every year. Then the coach gets fired and we have another rebuilding project for a few years because the cupboard is empty.

The change needs to be made before the "bottom falls out" of recruiting and the new coach is left with lessor athletes.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

ogredawg, over the years here, one of our main agreements has been trench warfare. The "real game" is played with those guys with their hands in the dirt. Nick Saban football, not Mark Richt's first choice.

36869, both of us know that Mark Richt is not leaving. I am one of those that believe we will know when by watching how he recruits in the near future. Think you know what I mean.

I wonder if TG's defense can hold the off week to under 30 points.

Best laugh I have had in a while . . . . Good "stuff".

I'm going to lay off that bet unless I decide to pay extra to buy it down to 27, in which case
I'll take the over.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
