You know they let AM check off to another play based on what D he's looking at when under center. They use to give DG a lot of leeway with audibling out of a play. Maybe DG is more cerebral than AM?

I used to get frustrated when Green would throw the ball about 5 yards in front of a receiver on the ground, but he didn't throw too many picks. AM might do well to remember that even if you are in the pocket, you can still zing it and burn a few worms in the direction of a receiver and live to throw another pass.

While we're dreaming, what about two quarterbacks in the backfield and do a halfback pass downfield. You can do those kind of things with the QB's we've got sitting on the bench.

Couldn't agree more thriller. I love the drive, attitude, and play of AM, but he has to realize with a defense like we had last year, sometimes punting isn't the worst scenario.
I look back at last year, and the more I think about it, the only complaint that I have is the turnovers. Hate focusing on a couple of plays, but in all honesty, there were critical turnovers that cost us 2 football games. Live to play another play, and the team last year is 12-2.
I don't mind wrinkles every now and then, but I am not in favor of trying to recreate the wheel offensively. I am sure people will disagree, but I have not problem with trying to run the football. If we truly want to be NC's, have to have a very strong running attack. See so many complaints about Bobo, and then wanting CMR replaced with Miles or Saban. Those 2 do not abandon the running game. Did it the whole game against each other the 1st meeting. LSU did it the whole 1st half against us in the SEC championship. Did they abandon it because it wasn't successful? No. No matter how bad we don't like it, trying to establish an inside running game is a must in this league. This isn't the PAC-10 or Big 12. Top defenses in this league have unbelievable speed.
I am not even going to complain about the O-Line. Said many times, I don't think they were as bas as many made them out to be last year. I was more disappointed with the fact that our RB didn't appear to be running all out all the time. Sometimes you have to just continue to run tough, and you pop off a long one. We didn't do that very often last year.
Seems attitudes have changed. Keep progressing KM. Like what I saw after you refocused.
