As far as safties creeping up to the line of scrimmage. From a schematic view, that is exactly what you are hoping if you are a pro-style offense. That should open up the deep middle passing game. To me, I kind of think the opposite. I think teams like BSU and MSU, it was to easy for their front 7 to control our running attack. That just can't happen.
Again, really good discussion. Lot of great thoughts.

>>> Georgia released its first depth chart since spring football. There were a lot of changes there but one interesting one was Merritt Hall, a 5-foot-11, 216-pound redshirt freshman walkon from Alpharetta was listed as the starting fullback. He was ahead of Richard Samuel — who is not listed among the tailbacks — and Zander Ogletree. It might be as much a message for incoming true freshman fullback Quayvon Hicks, who Richt raved about, as it was the guys already here.
Murray's take on this "Football Player"
He’s a crazy dude, that’s for sure. He reminds me of somebody like Ben Jones in that he’s just a crazy football player that’s dirty and ready to put his head in the pile and just knock people around. That’s the kind of fullback that you want, somebody that’s not afraid of contact, who’s just going to fill that hole and get it open. Whatever linebacker shows up first, he’s taking their head off. I’m excited about it him. I know we have some other guys, Zander [Ogletree] and the guy who just got here who’s a freshman [Quayvon Hicks]. Hicks is a really good looking fullback, too. So that’s going to be a good competition.”

Faton Bauta is in Athens and did not come expecting or wanting to redshirt. This young man as I mentioned when he chose us, makes me very happy and he brings a top notch winning attitude. Brings something to Athens that could as you say and many others seem to think, variety to what in my opinion has become a bit “stale”.
Many in Florida compare him to Tebow, many also thought he would cast his lot with the Gators. I have to believe that Mark Richt will keep his word to Faton and give him every chance to play, leaving the time line up to Faton.
Much discussion now in the NFL about Tebow’s arm. Faton has a very strong and accurate arm. Runs with the football in the same manner as Tebow does. He is fearless. Also excellent on defense.
I sincerely hope that we do not see quality SEC athletes like this riding the pines in Athens. This young man can play and does not need to sit for a year or two or whatever. Seen too much of that in the past. Came to Athens early, and according to AM, has picked the play book up with no problems.
Edit: This clip shows what Faton can do with his arm. Against really good competition from South Florida.
