I think we sometimes have a habit of moving to the extreme side of views. It happens.

I would say though that I don't think it's fair when people think that having a negative opinion
of something within the program is because we expect championships "every year" or else.

I don't think anyone thinks that, and many have posted repeatedly that what we want is to
be competitive with the top tier programs. I didn't think we were going to win the SEC
championship every other year after Richt won a couple.. not at all. I don't think we
are going to beat Florida every year, and I expect us to lose to Tech every once in awhile.
(although I do freely admit I will always be very upset and never accept it when we lose to Tech, lol)

It's not expecting championships every year. It's about expecting a team with our ability to recruit,
our money, and our tradition as a top 12 type program (the records going back to 1940 prove that
is what we are) to perform like a top 10-12 program. That means some years we should finish
well up in the top 10, and some years we may be a bit below it.

What we do expect is to NOT get blown out by Florida almost every year.. not to be behind the
8 ball after our first SEC contest.. not to struggle much with the Vanderbilts, Kentuckys and
Colorados of the world, and not to show up totally unprepared for a bowl game or a highly hyped game against a top level opponent. We do expect to not go into three seasons in a row being one injury
from an oft injured player away from a disaster on our offensive line.
