Letter to Bulldog Nation

I'm with you AD5, have no arguments at all if CMR took over the OC........COMPLETELY.

Sincerely believe the biggest problem we have that is NOW holding the program back is Bobo. I love CMR and all he stands for but he needs to step up, show leadership and either take over as OC or hire one.....I also have no problem with Bobo going back to ONLY coach the QB's, I've heard he IS a pretty good QB coach.

Hope he steps up and fixes the problem because in this day and time, it would be great to have a leader with morals and integrity that ALSO wins us championships. Maybe that's too good to be true in the world we live in NOW.

And yes AD5......believe we do think alike.

I suffered through the Goff years. Never stopped watching my team play the game.

Amen and AMEN!! VD did the same things that Richt has been doing. We can be friends when the game is over. Richt needs to wake up, and I think he has from watching his last presser. President, head coach and players asking folks/students to attend a FOOTBALL GAME IN ATHENS. What the heck is wrong with that picture? . . . . . . 6-7 seasons and red panties, president's raises and how far do I need to take this. Can go much deeper.

Assume Richt isn't going to really get it turned around as much as most of us want...

Does the alternative to Richt have to be someone underhanded and unscrupulous in order
to get where we want to go?

The letter that began this thread sort of leaned in that direction. It basically said
we need to hang on to Richt because the only alternatives are a Nick Saban type.

I don't buy that.

I don't buy that either. Maybe I'm a "polyanna" but I believe you can win without cheating or being unscrupulous.

Guess your answer to my curiousity question is the same as mine.......

I sincerely hope we win the rest of our games this year and Coach Richt turns it around.
I find it interesting though to hear other's take on the program.
It seems we are appearing excuse oriented.
If only we had a different DC, a different OC, strength and conditioning, special teams, on and on and on.
Like it or not, the onus is on the head coach.
We have underperformed too long.

At the end of the day I don't demand championships every year or heads on a platter.

What I do demand is proper preparation, playing smart, playing hard for 60 minutes,
and seeing a proud team walk off the field without me feeling embarrassed by our
performance. (namely the performance of our coaching staff)

My feelings about CMR have come about because of a lack of a couple of those things,
and too much of the other. We can direct a lot of it at Bobo, but CMR has to be
held ultimately responsible as that comes with the title of HC.

Coach Richt needn't worry about profanity.
There are plenty of us doing the cussing for him.
