NC_Dawg, a very factual post. Totally agree with the statement below.

Nonetheless, The Dawg Nation is NOT one man. I will continue to watch and support my dawgs regardless to the coach....At the same time, hoping for more than mediocre!

A deserved thank you to a true UGA supporter.

You don't have to cheat to win in the SEC but you damn well better have a mean streak.

Lets just say it this way. I support the Bulldogs, and have since I knew what college football was all about, but, would not feel real good about it if I thought we were cheating to win games. I'm used to a team that pushes other teams to the limit to get a win. If you have to cheat to win you are not a winner. I guess some would say I have blinders on,but, thats just the way I feel about UGA football.

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

The letter states or thats the way I read it that we should stick with CMR regardless. I have read other posts where they'd rather have CMR over Saban, spurrior, Miles, ect. So tell me we have this great leader and christan man in CMR. Did we not get the Fulmer award in 08 and 09 for the most arrest.

With CMR being such a christan man and every parent wanting their child playing for CMR, then why in the H did we have so many arrest and players kicked off the team. It is because CMR runs a slack ship, the has no discipiline and that is why the players are out of shape, can't learn the plays, and some have that what can you do for me mentality.

I think CMR is a good man, but as stated, that don't win games. You think all these recruits will want to continue to come to UGA with no championships of any kind. It seems alot of people are content with 7 or 8 win seasons. Me, I want more, and for the amount of money we are paying CMR he should produce at least SEC East championships, I don't thinks we could beat ALA or LSU. But why are some so stuburn
to not want what Fla, Ala, LSU, Auburn Olk,ect want and that is to win, and I mean win championships.

I for one am sick of CMR, beging fans to come out and make noice, the uniform changes, stupid stuff to get moral up. If these kids can't be excited to play for UGA and want to give 110%, then what are they doing here. I really do think our team has improved, but it is not CMR doing it, it is a few of these players that want to win, AM, BJ, Boykin just to name a few. I truely believe CMR could give a rats
A if we win 6 or 10 games this year. He will still have that dumb founded look on his face win or lose facial expression is always the same.

AM leads us to win this weekend and the next 2 and TENN and Vandy

Guess, I am going back to my past, but I still have trouble with folks calling Richt out for how he is. Yes, he is a christian man. I agree it shouldn't help save his job, but at the same time does not mean you can't win football games. I want to know how many people are at the practices, and how many people know CMR personally? We assume we know him, but personally calling him out for being soft or not having a mean streak, its pointless. None of us know what goes on behind closed doors. And to be honest, it is irrelevant. If you don't like him for his play calling, hiring, recruiting, things we actually know, I understand. However, this constant imaging of trying to make the man appear to be some coward, or softy, because he doesn't go ballistic on the sideline just seems pointless to me.

Truth is that if you go by the letter of the NCAA book.. probably every team in the nation
has violations... including our Bulldogs.

It's like the freakin' yellow pages, but that's another argument entirely.

I think what we are shooting at here is willful breaking of the rules, being a known liar or
scum bucket. I don't think any of us want that as our coach.

I have a high degree of respect for men of faith, but it's not mandatory that our coach
be a missionary either. I'm not sending my son to a university to be taught religion by the
football coach. CMR doesn't have the market cornered on integrity and honesty.

I hate saying things like this because it often comes across as being negative towards
Richt's religion, but I can assure you that is not the case. I would pretty darn happy
to have these young men coached by a Christian man with high moral character.. I just
don't accept that you can't do what needs to be done because you're a super nice fellow.

That dawg don't hunt.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
