No offense taken. I just wish CMR would be a little more objective in evaluating his coaches. I often feel he would fall on his own sword to protect them. Don't think they would do that for him. Just saying.Wartdawg wrote: Not to be a jerk to the original poster or the person who wrote the letter, but as soon as

This THREAD. We have had a lot of response to an open letter from a person that to this point has 5 posts.
TN Dawg have not heard a single comment from you, makes me wonder about what it is that you are trying to get us to understand. You come to this forum and post a "slanted message from a friend". Come on up, you registered to belong here, let's you and I and others discuss this.
Show me and others some Bulldog, Blue Ticks don't count here.
Buc,
I would welcome discussing things.
Sorry that I have not had a chance to respond. I don't seem to have the time to post as others do.
I am not trying to get you to understand anything. I guess I should have stated that I agreed with certain parts in the letter. I feel CMR has brought the program ahead since he took over. However, that would not have been much of an advancement from the Goff and Donnan years (Donnan did beat UF though). I respect him as a man.
We miss our objectives occasionally. When this happens we make adjustments. Sometimes those adjustments have not been made fast enough for me...a la Martinez and now Bobo. I understand there are those who want CMR to go, sooner than later. IMHO his biggest mistake was winning 2 SEC championships within his first five years. Now it is expected every year.
I thought the whole purpose of this forum was to spawn good open debate throughout the Bulldog Nation and was not aware that the number of posts determined your ability to do so. So, excuse me. I will work harder.
Not that it matters, I grew up listening to LM each Saturday, my first Bulldog book was "The Ghost of Herty Field", was on the sideline when Willie McCLendon broke the UGA rushing record against VMI in '78, and wear a #34 jersey to our tailgates. Please don't refer to me as a Blue Tick. I only live and work in TN because this economy makes me.
I bleed R&B. Look forward to many more discussions. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for clarifying your post TN Dawg and one comment is I do not expect the Dawgs to win an SEC title every year......just too tough to do that in this conference......but like I stated before I expect the Dawgs to COMPETE for the title year in and year out......
welcome to the board you will find this group here is the best......and look foward to your posts

I have said it a thousand times and will now make it a thousand and one.
Either Richt makes changes or UGA Changes Coaches.
He refuses to change BOZO , find players that can stay out of trouble and want to earn the privilige to wear the G. So He must go.
Last year everybody was bringing up Brad Johnson as OC, heck if he won't fire his BFF Bozo, he would certainly never fire his brother-in-law if things didn't work out.
