He was a great hitter....fearless. As far as him being a coach, cerebrial description doesn't rush to my mind.

Buc wrote: Some good chatter going on here. Goose, Thomas Davis made a lot of offensive coaches and players look him up when he was wearing the Red and Black. If I were the person hiring and firing at UGA, money would not be the reason Mr. Davis decided not to return. I could see Granham and Davis working together. Crossed fingers something like that comes to pass. We need to put the "Bad" back in "B*d @ss, and Thomas Davis is all that.

AD5...you make some great points. I definitely agree with the majority of people here that Bobo needs to either be stripped of playcalling duties or let go. As for Richt, I do think he's a great coach, but I also feel like he's hit a point of no return. Granted, he did bring us back to a level of success we hadn't seen in some time, BUT he also did it early in his career when he still had the remnants of old/past coaching staffs and recruiting classes. Unfortunately, since he got to the point where the program was "100% his" it's been a fairly consistent downward spiral.
Mike Honcho you get a tip of the hat from me on your post, especially the last sentence. I believe that Richt is and always was an offensive coordinator.
Buc, I haven't been on here long, but definitely long enough to know that you are a very well educated/informed and passionate fan...coming from you, the tip of the hat means a lot.

Know that recently Steve opened the forum up, and as wlayton and others have said . . . . it was a good crop, not too many bowevils or boll wevils. For what it is worth, I am impressed with many of the "newbies" and I use newbie in the best sense of the word. "First" does not mean a lot on this side of the tracks . . . .

Wow.. I think of the word cerebral whenever I hear the name Bucky.
Unfortunately the word cerebral is always accompanied by the word hemorrhage.
