DAWGtm, Kirby Smart came to us for this reason. He has been assured that no one will interfere with what he wants to do. That includes the Athletic Director.

Kirby Smart will arrive in Athens ready to apply everything he has learned since leaving the University of Georgia.

Kirby Smart is the perfect public relations replacement for Mark Richt. There were a lot of names tossed around as replacements, those names fell on deaf ears. The Group that controls UGA Football, those that are looking for "returns" actually hired Kirby Smart. McGarity was nothing more than a "mouth piece" for the media.

Much, much more to the story than McGarity making a decision on his return from Athens after the Tech game. McGarity was following "orders", period.

Great situation for Kirby Smart, players, fans, and supporters of the Red and Black. Kirby Smart will never have a better opportunity than the one he has now. Kirby's last name applies to his current standing in Athens.

Go Dawgs :)

However the mental toughness aspect is the spice

That separates the good from the great

Little off beat but . . . .

Jancek leaving Tennessee, could it be that he is moving to Miami? What about Willie. Did Willie Martinez and Mark Richt make up?

Richt needs all of the help he can get. Does not understand how to run a program from top to bottom. If he did, he would still be the head coach in Athens. The City that he planned to retire from coaching and live happy ever after.

Damn . . . . Miami offered 4 million dollar annual pay and now all MR can do is form both hands into a "U". Carney that got away with a lot in Athens.

Thought the photograph below might be worth posting. Mentioned HW earlier. Don't think I have ever read anything about Walker and his time with Donald Trump. Trump is very persuasive. :)

Believe that the new group of coaches are going to get real excited about Tae Crowder.

There are always a lot of names "out there", but sometimes players like Tae Crowder come along and make the coaches names a lot easier to get recognition.

Seem to remember a player named Gurley that was an after thought. Anyone still believe in the ***** system?

I remember our head coach telling us that Cam Newton was a tight end. Recruited as a tight end.

Think I am being tough on MR? You should live in Florida and listen to the added BS now that Richt is the head coach at the "U". Public Relations Department at the "U" is telling "everyone" again that the "U" is back.

Folks, the best thing that could have possibly happened in Athens, happened. We finally understand that . . . . "we did not understand". Bleeding hearts cannot be "flipped", that is their DNA.

Kirby Smart understands what "rolling one's sleeves up means". Many on Dawgs.com understand also.

Kirby, there are many on this board that understand what needs to be done. Took a while, but look at us now.

Realist = 1
Bleeding Hearts = 0

Go Dawgs :)
