Been involved with some personal business yd1. Hope this fits.
Dell McGee and Columbus, Georgia players under the previous group of coaches were told to “shove it” without the words being used. Amazing that the previous head coach decided that Columbus, Georgia need not be a part of the “touring Red and Black circuit”.
What the heck, leave all of that area to Auburn. That is exactly what Mark Richt DID.
Anyone that wants to go into the “stuff” that players like IC did, go for it. When you do, look at the rest of the programs and see just how “things” are handled.
If you and I are backers of the Red and Black and believe this day and time the “same rules” apply to this generation and the next, my friends all I can say is, lots of luck, and you are lost.
Go to this . . . . Anyone that believes Mark Richt will be able to run and enforce the same Rules and Regulations at the “U” that were enforced in Athens (partially) . . . . Might belong to the crowd of “Bleeding Hearts” that will be out in force even “before” and “after” the new coaches arrive. Most of the BS will be pointed at Kirby Smart.
To the now “Kirby Smart Haters”, this old Dawg says this . . . .
HEAD COACH KIRBY SMART, belongs in Athens. He grew up in Georgia. Played High School Football in Georgia. Played football between the Hedges. Coached football prior to leaving for Alabama and serving under Nick Saban.
For those that read and post their BS elsewhere, above are “some” of the reasons Kirby Smart came home.
To the idiot population . . . . would you really rather see Kirby Smart as head coach in Columbia, South Carolina? Answer that and you and I can have a SEC FOOTBALL CONVERSATION. Not a AJC POS conversation.
This is where “I” come from.
Head Coach Kirby Smart will build our program from the “bottom up”. How long will it take? Seem to remember the “Bleeding Hearts” loving the recruiting prior to Kirby Smart. Do you . . . . the “bleeding hearts” think that Head Coach Kirby Smart will fail in the area of recruiting? Speak up, somehow the “volume” was too low for me to hear. Say again, was a mistake made with hiring Head Coach Kirby Smart as a recruiter?
Does Head Coach Kirby Smart lack football knowledge when it comes to coaching defensive players?
Question . . . . Just explain to me how much Mark Richt knew about coaching the defense, was he good, very good, or lost?
There is a lot to be talked about, willing to do that myself. This is a very promising time for UGA Football. Why? Because we finally got/found the missing link. HEAD COACH KIRBY SMART.
One more thing . . . . Tracy Rocker does not have to walk behind anyone. Nuff said, except, I sure as heck have more.
