I wonder if Goofy was taken aback by the ovation. I still get the impression the ST issue wasn't as
critical to him as it was to all of us.

Step back and think about this from the perspective of what MR would have done.

What on our team would be different today regarding ST if the gum smacker hadn't left of his own volition??

If Lakotos was still here.. and Grantham... and Wilson...and Olivadotti.

As far as we know there was no secret deal to allow Grantham to quit to avoid the embarrassment of
being fired, so we must assume he really did leave on his own.

So where would we be today had that jackleg Petrino and Grantham hadn't done us a huge favor? Where would these needed changes on ST be?

So make your announcement MR and take the credit.. you fairly get credit for these hires and deserve a pat on the back for making good decisions...when circumstances out of your control forced you to finally do something.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Wartdawg, Pruitt made it very clear that Will Friend is the person that initiated the beginning of this hire.

Also, not one time did grantham in his opening video mention richt. Said he was excited about being with one of the best offensive minds in the business and an athletic director that is not afraid to spend some money. Of course he was covering his butt, but some points are hard to disagree with.

It was predicted on this board how this would play out, thanks for staying true to several of your posts. Hard to do sometimes.

It's not just yo humble opinion... it's the opinion of all the Bulldawg nation.

Stop the other teams O's and no one will ever say a negative word about how they line up. I wouldn't care if they lined up in the old KC front while wearing tutus if they can start playing serious D.

It would be great to see a third down stop just one but I know things will be 99.99999999 percent better than last year CJP believes in teaching how to tackle Damn he's a Genius.

How Bout them Dawgs!!!!!!!

I know exactly where we would be. We would be at square one, We would have been told how its great to have continuity, We would not have had a top ten recruiting class, McClendon would not have gotten any recognition and I for one would not be looking forward to next season. I'm just very thankful that it happened, Can't change perception but hopefully it will change results.

Will be interesting to see if any better fundamentals in the spring game. Hopefully there will be some noticeable better tackling, CB/S coverages and kids flying around playing a little faster. Know it is a little early but.....
