Now THAT is funny!!  :woohoo:
GOOD.....kinda "dovetails" with saying he didn't want to go there and that "hopefully" he'll leave those answers to his DC.

Know there are several members on this board that will appreciate what you said above Wartdawg.
Do not need to be a false witness to what is and has been going on in Athens.
Reminds me of the situation that Mack Brown and Bobby Bowden found themselves in . . . . short haul, no problem, not too far down the road, necessary changes had to be made. That is going on in Athens right now, it just has not surfaced at this point.
Both Bowden and Brown did really good things for both universities, they somehow thought that would be enough. It is not, was not, or will ever be enough.
The one college coach that understands that is Nick Saban. The same coach that does not like being beaten two times, back to back by anyone.
Auburn will find out this season. Gus has gotten away with a few things this time around, film rooms at UGA and other universities will change the way teams play Gus, much like what happened to urban meyer.
richt, leave Pruitt alone, keep smiling for the cubbies. Defense as Wartdawg said above, is not your area of expertise. Could say more, will leave it right there.

Believe a HC should leave the DC alone unless there are glaring mistakes being made.....uh, um, a certain CTG come to mind?

Truth.
Will say this. A good leader should never allow himself to be put into a situation that occured with grantham. grantham came in with his NFL "halo", only problem with that, which those of us at UGA found out . . . . even the NFL does not want grantham back. Back to back defensive coordinators that were chosen by richt. That is not ugly, it is what is called an "absolute".
I agree wlayton, at this point richt is trying hard to stay away from the situations that faced Bowden and Brown. Best way, stay away from "progress".
Lots of weight being put on the shoulders of Jeremy Pruitt. If many here read different blogs, many out there think that Pruitt can turn our program around by himself. Jeremy Pruitt is not Nick Saban. At this point Jeremy Pruitt is the young defensive coordinator that has his finger in the hole in the dike.
We will see just how broad Pruitt's shoulders are soon. This is the first real "test" he has faced. I know that he was the defensive coordinator at FSU, but please remember this, he had a lot of talent in Tallahassee. Do we have the same amount of talent in Athens, won't take us long to find out. Clemson, South Carolina.

No doubt could have stayed in Tally and picked off a sizeable raise and been comfortable
He looked at getting back into the SEC and making a career opening for himself
Me thinks he knows which end of the bull he has a hold of
He wants this challenge. GO Dawgs
