Glad I came in and pulled up the forum, I can sleep well tonight. If he don't do well at L'ville Petrino will take him for a ride on his Harley. I am happy to see him go,now maybe we can get something done.

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

Wow I'm shocked and thrilled at the same time!

I didn't think Todd would leave because Georgia was paying him so much, but however it happen YEAAA!

I don't know who's going to be the new "D" coach but whoever it's going to be he can't be worst....right?

Now is Richt going to change his coaching/thinking style??? Don't know but someone pulled the trigger on Todd, so hopefully Richt will get the picture and maybe, just maybe the Dawgs, with the players the Dawgs have now will surprise us and win every game this season coming up.

Grantham left because of Richt. I am telling you guys, his lack of performance was due to Richt pulling his leash too hard in the wrong direction. It started with that Vandy game a couple of years ago and how Richt humiliated Grantham by forcing his apology against a coach that encouraged extremely dangerous playing that could flush a player's career down the toilet if executed properly. Grantham was just looking out for his players (kids/father mentality) and Richt, hypocritically, forced his hand to try and represent the school as some morally superior football team with high discipline and respectable behavior (just remember that the final straw with Isaiah Crowell was guns with scratched out serial numbers and drugs and not because he was a "team player").

Yes, we will get a net benefit if we get a DC that rolls in that has no problem with Richt's hypocritical stance on discipline along with catering to his very questionable authoritative position, but all I will say is that Grantham was a great coach held back by the very big problem that will continue to haunt us.

As excited as I am to see Todd go, our main problem still resides in Athens. This season has opened my eyes can't get too excited. However, maybe we will get a guy that will teach our guys how to tackle, will stop me from developing high blood pressure

I wonder the what the chances are we can convince Ed Orgeron to come here.
