Sorry, but for me, this news is just "nothing to see here.". I keep reading everywhere what a great recruiter Pruitt is. And? Recruiting great classes has never been an issue.
And when Pruitt is forced to abide by richt's"everbody gets a trophy and nobody gets their feelings hurt" coaching philosophy, I doubt we'll see great strides by the defense.
Glad most of the fan base is happy. I'll just prepare for the same old,same old.

Now he can show off his brand new NC ring to the less fortunate :whistle:

It IS a great hire.....now do the same with a ST coach like WD said (a very good one).

Sadler, Just spoke with a FSU friend of mine. I told him that very thing--CMR will probably whip him into shape quickly.

"Listen here Jeremy; around here, we want you start off hot in recruiting, but when we get near the signing date, ease off and let AU/Bama and FSU grab the 3-4 best players still out there. Go home and be with your wife."

Going to take the day to be happy. CMR might be off the hook. Doesn't matter to me. If was the one pulling for Pruitt, going to give him some credit. If no blood has to be shed to see some serious results I am ok with it as long as we actually do see results.

Had enough to be down about for long enough, and probably will have more to be frustrated with in the future, so going to celebrate this hire for a few days.

I know we still have a problem.... no doubt. I don't think our head man can get us there even with Pruitt... check, got it.


I will say this though... Richt with Pruitt as DC is better than Richt with Can'tham at DC.

I'm not going to stop rooting for UGA until Richt is gone, so this is a positive moving forward.

At least that is something, so allow yourself to smile for at least 5 seconds. It's something.
