I would say it is very close. There is no shortage of talent on the defensive side of the ball at UGA that is a definite.

Close yes, but every resource I can find says FSU has more NFL talent on defense. Jimbo has done well in recruiting.

mark richt pulled all of the right strings (for himself) again. Personally, have nothing for richt. Pruitt is on a mission and second level head coaches like richt won't keep Pruitt at bay.

Sickest I have been in a long time. Not so much Pruitt . . . . the fact that mark richt got away with it again.

I like Will Friend, have openly said that. For all of Will Friend's haters, and there are many, he is probably the reason that Pruitt signed on. mark richt and greg mcgarity are not responsible for this hire, Will Friend is. Of course when offered a $300,000 yearly raise, would make many folks come-a-running.

This hire probably guarantees mark richt all of the elbow room he needs.

Boards everywhere are right up mark richt's backside, many of the posters less than two weeks ago on other boards calling for richt's scalp.

Football has ceased to be fun for me. kentdaddy, mark richt now has a guaranteed 14-16 million dollars secure before he leaves. Money does not matter, right . . . .

Agree.....we have good talent on D but FSU is more talented hands down.

WLayton, if that were to happen, maybe for the first time ever, CMR is acknowledging that he has failed, and is actually doing something to address it.

Talk about a recruiting staff. McClendon, Bobo, Pruitt, Thompson, and maybe Wilson doing the behind the scenes with CMR visiting the parents. That could be scary.

I agree with AllDawgs5 post of being happy for today. Life is too short to not enjoy each day. I agree that Mark Richt has gotten a reprieve with this hire but personally if it gets us to the goal of a NC I will take it. Our players read these blogs and we need to let them know they are being supported. Go DAWGS.
