I frequently talk with one of my neighbors, brother of Brannon Sutherland, who played for Franklin.
He has made that team believe they are going to win.
He has changed the whole culture at Vanderbilt.
Still a jerk, in my opinion.

averagedawg, agree with the jerk. As you say, he has changed the Vanderbilt culture.

Then I look at grantham, and scratch my head. My opinion, a jerk. A jerk that has to my mind done zero to improve our lot.

Two jerks, different results.

Going to be interesting to see if Saban hires Kiffin, another jerk.

Buc, It would be interesting to see Kiffen on the 'Bama sideline at Neyland.
Wonder what extra security they would have.
Fact is, had he stayed at Tn, they would probably be a better team.
If it takes a jerk to win, bring him to Athens.

I favor a 4-3 or like AD5 said a 4-2-5 type. 2 big quick DE's for the edge/rushing the QB and 2 big DT's to stop the run and a blitzing type LB like JHC or Floyd who can make stops on those RB's or sack the QB. Many many ways for the defense to change because whatever they have been doing it ain't working.....

You and I are on the same page averagedawg. Thought about Neyland and Kiffin. Might need the National Guard for that game.

Will not surprise me to see Nick Saban hire Kiffin. One thing that everyone coaching in Tuscaloosa knows . . . . Saban is the last word.

Folks in Alabama still want to add salt to the wound. You know what I mean.

Keeping my eyes on Saban/Kiffin.

Keyon Brown is on his way to Athens. Will play this season. Lots of talent on the defense that only needs a coach.

Would like to hear the conversation that McGarity and richt had today. Greg has received a lot of emails, many from folks that pay to watch our football team, not happy with the lack of results. McGarity as Athletic Director cannot afford to have empty seats in the stadium.

What is said will not be released, understandable. If there is a release, it will be "fluff".

Don't think Saban was a Nussmeier fan and believe he will hire Kiffin. It will be interesting because I understand they are buddies.
