Some VERY deep football talk on this board! Grantham could prolly learn a lot from y'all! App St true colors came out in the 2nd half, anyone that saw that game and has any football knowledge saw that App St wore down and shot themselves in the foot as the game went on. Grantham did NOT adjust our D to anything, are you kidding me! Man is a joke bottom line...

A thought here, the media is already hyping up the Iron Bowl game, do ya think the refs will be quick to throw the flags on us to keep us out of the game and to keep the Iron Bowl hype going. Remember the holds that were NOT called last year in the SEC ship and the helmet to helmet hit on AM after the pick. Just got a feeling that we will NOT get any breaks as far as the Refs go this Sat.

All of ya have covered the game plan for Auburn to a tee! I agree with each and every one of ya. I woud like to see AM keep a few more on the read option if it's there. Also, I think we need to get Hicks in the mix, get the BEAST a dump pass and few touches please! I'm with ya Buc on Rumph, I've been big on this kid since G day, he is SPECIAL! I also see Tray Matthews having a good game, I think this game fits right into his wheelhouse!

Like I said earlier I see a shoot out. I have no doubt that we will score with them and can out score them if Gurley is 100%! Our D has to bring it and they MUST put pressure on Marshall from the first snap, by that I mean putting hard hits on him and stopping him before he gets his momentum going. We must make them change their game plan and do what they don't like to do or choose not to do, pass. I feel like we can disrupt their running game...

I don't think TG could learn anything from me about D, and I mean that sincerely. Living it daily as he has for this many
years, I am sure he knows quite a bit more than I do.

But knowing and being able to teach are different things.

Knowing and being able to put that knowledge on the field... different..

Knowing and knowing how to make what you know fit well with what you have to work with.... different things.


That all being said... I know that I don't "know" more than him... but I guarantee you any defensive unit coached by me
would know how to position themselves in whatever limited scheme D I could put together, every player would know their
assignments within those schemes, and every doggone one of them would know how to by-god tackle.

The refs and the game....eh, I don't doubt "they" don't want UGA to put some tarnish on the Iron Bowl..

If that means anything though.. I don't know.
