So Auburn ran the ball against Tennessee 53 times on 60 snaps.

Appears the message is clear, Auburn runs the football. This should be right up Grantham's alley. Does not appear that Malzahn does much out of the ordinary. So, Malzahn vs Grantham. Mike Bobo vs Ellis Johnson.

If you care to read, Rich Bisaccia is their SPECIAL TEAMS COACH. He is very good. Not sure about the Georgia side . . . . . ;)

Malzahn vs Grantham. Not really liking our chances. I will take Bobo vs Johnson. Believe we will score a few points guessing close to 30 range would should be good enough. Fearful it will not be though. Nick Marshall is a talented football player, but not going to fault the coaches. He was a very good DB, and I wouldn't take him over AM at qb. He would have been a junior this year at UGA and would have been a starting cb IMO. Probably one of our best.

Believe I saw their special teams in quite a few highlights this last weekend. Another big concern.

Injuries, I have stated my believes. Believe you can replace 1 or 2 playmakers. Don't believe you can replace all that we have lost on offense. Still, our offense is not what concerns me. 30pts should win games. Key word is should. Guessing we are going to have to score in the 40's to win this one.

GO DAWGS, definitly have our work cut out. Looks like CTG last chance to prove himself.

We SHOULD be able to put up points on Auburns D, I just hope our D can win the shoot out for us. I see another mid to high scoring game that will come down to which D can make the BIG stop when it counts...

NM is going to bring it against his old team, you better believe that! I don't see him running for 200 plus yards on us like he did the Vols though. Drew, Floyd and JHC will NOT allow that! But he will move the ball effectively and Tre Mason is a BEAST that will get his yards too. I think this game will play into what Tray Matthews is built for, look for some big hits from Matthews that will stop their drive/possession!

I just feel like we match up good in this game and if we can slow down their run game then we WILL win it. O line gives AM an extra second then we should be able to light em' up. Also need Hicks to bring his A game and open up the holes for TG, Green and BD.

Remember the 2006 game???

AllDawgs5, really good post, maybe because I agree with it. :)

I will take Mike Bobo in this case, especially with either a part time or full time Gurley. Makes a huge difference when he is lined up in the backfield. He is a man.

Special teams could be a huge issue Saturday. Not telling anyone anything that is not known. Maybe it is just me, however it seems one week parts of our team(s) play well, following game, don't seem to recognize them. Watched Rich Bisaccia in Tampa, great coach. Maybe someday we will realize the need. Just saying . . . . again.

Was glad to see Rumph on the field, that does give Auburn something to think about.

Allow me this. I know that Nick Marshall has a very good arm, proved that in high school. If I am calling the defensive plays, going to make him throw the football. I have five coming at the running backs (that includes Marshall) and the other six have to play football.

Grantham relies on his 3 man front, will tell us in his next interview that the players need to learn "his" system. Sorry, that is the way I feel, that is based on what these old eyes allow me to see week after week. Can no longer support what I thought was a good hire.

Guarantee is this . . . . Ellis Johnson will have his forces coming after AM. He has always taught an attacking defense.

Best I can gather from looking around, most think that the biggest plus for Auburn is playing at home. Never hurts when you have the coaching and players to step onto the field.

Good news: AU predominately runs the ball and our D is "better" against the run
Bad news: believe AU can and WILL throw the ball more because of our weak secondary

Good news: our depleted offense can still score 35
Bad news: it may take 45

Good news: no pressure on us...should play relaxed and wing it
Bad news: they WILL be spitting nails and ready to play to avenge last year

ZERO confidence in CTG
