DWS, he could be the difference. What bothers me about that is "improving". Gurley is like AM, hurt does not count. They play, when others might take an IC.

One thing for sure, they have not whipped us yet. They have won one game in the last six against the University of Georgia. I spy a lot on our opposition and another thing for sure, Auburn football players want to play the University of Georgia football players. Saturday, they get their wish.

Quite frankly, this is the game that AM will put on a big show. It is not like we don't have an offense. Bobo will attack, he knows what to expect from Ellis Johnson, and it will be Ellis Johnson calling the defensive plays not Gus Malzahn. First thing Ellis will do is try to stop the ground game. Might be in for a surprise Saturday. Linebackers have to honor fakes, especially when we are faking handoffs to some of our backs, Gurley in particular. AM can win against Auburn's defensive backfield, hands down. We also have receivers than can catch the football, and will against Auburn.

Press talk is one thing, cleats in the ground another. Auburn is prime to be beaten. Won't call it an upset, I don't think or believe they are better man for man than we are. This is a coaches game, glad we have Coach AM on the field.

Not worried about AM, TG and company, again, zero confidence in CTG. Don't think for a minute Marshall can't throw on our secondary.....if they want to throw it, they can and I believe they will throw it 15-20 times (versus 7 against UT).

WHY wouldn't you throw it against us??

Guess it goes back to some of the earlier posts. Why not load the front up and make him throw. That way we are taking away a part of the running game. Any team or teams that are close in talent have to "game plan". If it has come down to this . . . . they (Auburn) will beat us regardless of what we do . . . . why the hell play the game.

This is the type of game that allows us to look coaches, players and fans in the eye and stop all of the loud talk that myself and others are doing at this point.

Richt speaking from the stump saying we are playing for a chance to win the Eastern Wing of the SEC. Does he believe that? Is that coach speak?

Grantham patting himself on the back when the defense pleases his "stance in life".

Folks like me need to get real, regardless of what is written and spoken by those that control the college football game. The control belongs to those that we are not allowed to speak with on a one to one basis. See, they know better than we do, why . . . . "just because".

Never have I been flatter with a University of Georgia football coached team going into a Saturday afternoon game than I have been with what this group of coaches have done preparing not only the players, the fan base has been totally dismissed.

Nothing positive coming from the coaching base. Takes me back to the VD days, looks like and sounds like. Then again, VD did hire Richt along with some others that were not the brighest or the most honest or the sharpest knives in the drawer. Guess it is hard to break old habits.

Guess I have reconciled to myself that our D just can't get it done and AM will have to outscore them.

Interesting about FSU's first year DC this year (Pruitt). He runs a 3-4 as well.....doesn't look as if FSU's D has any problem with the scheme OR lining up. They are ranked 4th in the country in scoring defense and they CERTAINLY play fast.

Naaaa, it couldn't be because Pruitt came from BAMA/Saban/Smart teaching him how you ACTUALLY play D could it?????

Funny how CTG hasn't figured it out in 4 years how teach the 3-4 to his players and Pruitt did it in LESS than a year......oh....and did it quite well.
