I'm a financial analyst, and there are millions of jobs in the world that use someone like me...
If there were only 118 of my jobs available in the entire world, then yes I would expect to
be fired if I wasn't the best of the best... especially if my particular job was one of the
10 highest paid out of those 118.. It's comparing apples to oranges.
That being said.... Duck, I for one am not denying any of the points you are making and I tend
to take a step back these days regarding the coaching chatter. I wish we had someone better
than Richt, if such a person were available...but it is what it is, and he is our coach.
Despite his perceived flaws, we can still win this game and we do occasionally put it together
for 4 quarters. Yes SS owned us at UF and seems to have Richt's number here, but he hasn't beat
us every single time one of his teams has played one of ours.
I was just hoping to turn the tone of the thread into how do we overcome the odds and beat them
instead of just talking only about all of the ways they are going to beat us.
Let's throw a bone out to giving us a punchers chance, at least.
I'm with you about turning these threads around to being more positive.......uh, "overcome the odds"?....aren't we favored by 3?

As I Stated earlier, I want UGA to win more than some for lots of reasons, but do I have my doubts from watching the NC/Car game and then watching our game, you bet I have big concerns.

Yea Buc... I said against the odds, lol
My reply is not addressed to the Vegas bookmakers... It is addressed to those giving us no shot at all.

I say, let the season play out, a lot can happen. Everyone imo should have realized this D was going to need to mature and hope the offense could outscore opponents the first 4 games or so. The D played about like what I thought.....just hoped we could have scored 39. The D should get progressively better......they are very young and many were playing HS ball this time last year.
Let's wait see what happens.....

But I will leave the job comparisons alone.
I just have to say this, then I will leave it alone as well. This is not just for your benefit, AD5, but for others who see a need to point this out to me also. I will put it all caps so hopefully nobody will see a need to point this out to me any more:
I DO NOT EXPECT RICHT TO BE FIRED. JUST BECAUSE I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE YEARS AGO, AND TALK ABOUT IT FROM TIME TO TIME, IN NO WAY ENDORSES THE FACT THAT I AM EXPECTING IT TO HAPPEN. I KNOW IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. THERE ARE TOO MANY SUPPORTERS WHO ARE HAPPY WITH HIS FIRST FEW YEAR'S STATS AND HIS CURRENT STATS AGAINST UNRANKED CHUMPS. I KNOW I AM IN THE MINORITY OF FANS WHO THINK OUR PROGRAM CAN BE MUCH BETTER, AND HAVE ACCEPTED THE FACT THAT WE ARE STUCK WITH RICHT UNTIL HE DECIDES TO QUIT.
Thank you, that is all.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
