Duck, I do believe we can win with Bobo. We sure as hell didn't lose last week because of him IMO. 35pts is enough, but I am not going to get into that. Realize it is NC or bust in some individual's minds, but not mine. We can claim 5 in the history of our program, and I have never seen one, so I am not going to hold my breath. I don't like the Dawgs only if they are winning. When I became a Dawg fan, we lost a lot more games than we do now and the conference wasnt near as strong back then top to bottom. Do I like losing, hell no, but it is a possiblity every time you tee it up.

According to what I gather, if you are not the very best in the country, you do not deserve to keep a job. Sure am happy the working world doesn't work that way. I strive to be the best I can be, and feel like I do a good job for the company I work for, but there are others that I am sure are better than me at other companies. Sure as hell happy my boss isn't firing me. I am guessing quite a few on this board are the best at their profession in the country. Not directed at any one individual. Just a feeling I get, which could be off.

I am glad SS is confident. He has earned the right to be against our Dawgs. Also, since apparently we lost to the Citadel last week, usc is going to be very talented. Do not be surpised if they have some success against anyone they play. Us included.

I don't like trying to compare our RL jobs to the jobs of a NCAA football coach...

I'm a financial analyst, and there are millions of jobs in the world that use someone like me...

If there were only 118 of my jobs available in the entire world, then yes I would expect to
be fired if I wasn't the best of the best... especially if my particular job was one of the
10 highest paid out of those 118.. It's comparing apples to oranges.

That being said.... Duck, I for one am not denying any of the points you are making and I tend
to take a step back these days regarding the coaching chatter. I wish we had someone better
than Richt, if such a person were available...but it is what it is, and he is our coach.

Despite his perceived flaws, we can still win this game and we do occasionally put it together
for 4 quarters. Yes SS owned us at UF and seems to have Richt's number here, but he hasn't beat
us every single time one of his teams has played one of ours.

I was just hoping to turn the tone of the thread into how do we overcome the odds and beat them
instead of just talking only about all of the ways they are going to beat us.

Let's throw a bone out to giving us a punchers chance, at least.

AD5, silly post about the regular jobs. You act as if this is the only loss ever and people are calling for people to be fired. People have been pointing out the same inadequacies with this staff for years. I may not have to be the best in my profession in the world, but I can assure you, if I was making even 10% of what richt is making, and my boss pointed out the same mistakes I had been making for 5-6 years with no solid plan for correcting them, rest assured, I would be looking for a new line of work.

See Wart thats is where I disagree. There are millions of coaching jobs. Every little league program out there is looking for coaches. In the coaching profession. Not just talking NCAA coaches. CMR is obviously in the prestige category. Just like you said, millions in your field. There are thousands of coaches. He is paid in the top 10, but he is also in the top 10 in winning percentage. And now that I think of it, I do not believe he is paid in the top 10. It was just an analogy to say, if I wasn't the best at my profession, I don't believe I would be constantly bashing others for not being the best at their profession. But, I have done it myself. Wish I hadn't, but spurt of the moment.

I guess I am one of the few that believe we have just as good as chance as winning this game than usc does. Not saying its a lock, but I like our chances. I will just leave it at that. Again, not going to go into great detail. Pointless cause after reading many post, I am not even sure why they are even playing this game.

I will stand by it Sadler. No boss is going to fire the all time most successful employee in their program history. Just not happening. He finishes in the top 10 80% of the time. But again, I will leave it alone. Causes many to evaluate themselves. I have been there and had to evaluate myself. I am not the best in the country. I admit that.

CMR job is harder than mine, and he is better at his job than I am at mine. Same goes for Bobo. But I will leave the job comparisons alone.
