Think maybe this can be said. Defense in my opinion had some very good moments. I look at the turnovers, lack of scoring inside the red zone, takes me back to a game against UCF.

This game in my opinion, was lost by both sides of the ball. Both sides had a chance to do some things that did not happen and could have made this game against Clemson even more interesting. Not going into great detail, but one of our ILB's dropped a pass that he had his mitts on. Played a great game, just let one get away.

Here is hoping that "both" sides of the ball get closer to being on the same page. Better be, game Saturday is definitely not for the weak hearted.

Many of us on this board know some of the history about South Carolina's running back Davis. He played schools, coaches and the media as if all were a video game prior to landing in Columbia.

One thing will happen this Saturday, Davis will try and come as close to some of Lattimores runs inside and outside as humanly possible. SS will be handing the ball to Davis maybe 30 times, that is if they get the jump on us again. SS likes Davis. Davis will cause a three man front a lot of problems. Yes, South Carolina has a good offensive line.

Edit: Appears that Nick Saban struck again. Believes in offensive linemen . . . . eh.

Goose, you ask what we need to do to beat the lamecocks? Simple, IMO, since it's the same thing we should have been working on the last few years--learn how to block on offense, learn how to tackle on defense, if we learn how to block, that will allow us to establish a running game which would allow our qb better options on passing plays which should correct that "deer in the headlights" look he gets, get some defensive schemes that confuse their offense, maybe call some offensive plays that play to our strengths and away from our weaknesses (which, as we've covered is blocking, so maybe get the ball quickly to our playmakers in space to overcome limp blocking, ie sweeps, swing passes, middle screens), and, ahhh, hell, just look up our game plan that most members have been posting for the last several years every time we play a ranked opponent.

If we cover all that Saturday, I LOVE our chances!!!!
