After some thoughts of last weekend, this clip might bring up a question or an answer or two about AM and some of his problems. Not saying AM does not make mistakes, but there is not a single quarterback that I am aware of that should be blamed for this.

Not trying to say anything other than, pretty weak effort on Marshall's part. Maybe Quayvon might be more of a force in protection.

Maybe you would like to see just how quickly AM was taken down on this rush. Kitchen timer will suffice. From the snap until AM is wrapped . . . . two (2) SECONDS. Doubt that, break out the timer. TWO (2) SECONDS. Must be AM's fault.

How many snaps did we have this past weekend vs Clemson? Interception and fumble on AM. First off the fumble, if you have time check it out, watch the total play. Secure the ball, I agree with that. Defensive end making the interception, not a defensive back. Great call by Venable. If defensive end rushes, receiver wide open.

Not real sure that I understand some of the posts I have read here.

Just trying to understand who it is that I post with often or not so often on this site.

I call BS on more than one post in this thread.

Edit: Anyone remember IC and him waving at an oncoming rush, well seems we want to talk football in this thread, let's go. Marshall did not make a "complete wave" at Clowney. Realize he was heading to the flats, but the ball ain't getting there if AM has TWO (2) SECONDS to get the pass off. Patting running backs on the back, suits me, I try to remember this is a team sport.

Buc, you are right about the pick AM threw....great defensive call imo. AM had no idea he backed up in the passing lane. PLUS, pretty lucky to have backed up in just the right spot as well.

Hey Steve, what's the chance you could lighten up the bar above the post (or make it clearer)? It may be just me but it is very difficult to read that person's time of last post. Anybody else have that problem?

wlayton, looking for one thing Saturday. Want this group to stand tall. Lot of chatter about JHC coming back along with a couple others. Truthfully, it is not the defensive side that is giving me nightmares. Not sure about some of the calls being made on defense, that of course belongs to Grantham. After looking at the film, first time for many of these puppies on defense, I have hope. Loss last weekend is to be shared by both sides of the ball. I said that. Said the same thing earlier.

Truthfully believe that Grantham needs to look at the college game differently than he did in the pros. Pro guys are there until they can't or don't have what it takes to play in the NFL. Over that period of time they understand the ins and outs of what coaches like Grantham teach. Got my eyes on Todd Grantham, no excuses if we are not improving.

College players are trying to get to that point. In the service we called them "short timers". It is an absolute must in my mind that we don't let their 4 beat our 3. You know that I know, and I know that you know, there are games played with fronts. We really need to stop the run, and I think this is the right choice of words . . . . control the run.

Their offensive line and Davis and the other back will come hard. If Grantham allows the same kind of yardage that he has in the recent past, will bother me. Not crazy about bend but don't break. Clemson proved that last statement to be true last Saturday. South Carolina did it to us last season, as did Alabama. Why change a winning formula?

wlayton, with the short amount of time that AM has after the snap, can't see everything. That would have been a great time for AM to use his "wheels". However he did not know or have the TIME to do that.

Big game, time for the "winners" to step up.

The ole ball sack made a comment that I read on espn today to the effect that UGA just has to have somebody to hate of which there are plenty that either are hated by the Dawgs or hate the Dawgs. He says that he has'nt beaten UGA enough times at usce for the Dawgs to hate usce yet. What do we make of that? Either very cocky or sticking a sharp stick in our sides. GO DAWGS! GATA

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day
