So right Wartdawg, I know that we have looked, shall we say less than stellar in big games, and I'm fairly certain that the players attitudes reflect that overall, but don't believe that their attitude is nearly as rotten as some of those who are supposed to lend support. I'm not happy with the record against ranked opponents over the past few years and guarantee you the players are'nt happy with it either, but,it is what it is and what we have to do to change it I can't say. I prefer to be positive but I have to swallow some bitter pills sometimes to do that and the Kool aid isn't helping anything right now. Maybe a good lopsided win by the Dawgs would help. GO DAWGS!

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

Duck,

You need to get it out of your system somewhere, somehow so why not here, this is a good place as a Dawg fan can find. Obviously I hope your predictions are all proven wrong (as I'm sure you hope so as well) but I can't say any of your post was unreasonable or far-fetched. Here's to hoping we DON'T let USC get us AGAIN! Maybe the ol ball coach's cockiness will lead to his demise Btw. the Hedges???

Buc,

I failed to praise Ramik Wilson on my post in the "Why we Lost" thread last night but after reviewing your game stats link, he was in on a whole bunch of tackles & played well too. What about DeLoach...no stats at all for a starting OLB; did he not play many snaps or what?

I'm actually quite pleased to hear the CTG is getting edgy in the pressers. He needs to feel some pressure to make some better in-game adjustments to counter whatever the other team is doing to succeed against us. If we must, I'd rather sell out to stop the USC running game & leave our young CBs on an island & take my chances on Shaw (and QB #2) beating us throwing the ball 40 times than just letting them control clock, keep our O off the field, keep their own D fresh.

What is everybody else thinking about keys to the SC vs. UGA game now?

In my business we are "contrarians" so I definitely like hearing SOS's overconfidence and NC talk. Sure hope their players are listening and feeling the same way.

Our guys have their backs to the wall and hopefully a sense of URGENCY.

I like that combination.

As much as I agree with what everybody is saying based on what we saw last week......this could be "setting up" nicely for the Dawgs.

Wouldn't surprise me to see us beat them by 10.

I don't want to set here the rest of the week and think about an ass wooping either, but ther fact is we are over rated again, and as long as we have AM at QB we will not win the big games. Say what you want, he chokes and get scared, go back at look at the Clemson game, he looks lost, has that deer in a head light look. CMR does not care if we win bids games or not, he knows as long as we win 8 or 9 games, his job in OK. It us the fans that want more, I want championships, SS and USC wants championships, Saban wants championships, have you hear CMR say that he wants an SEC championship, he states we are cable, BS, why can't he say I want one for the players and fans, why because it does not care. He has no emotion, should none what so ever in the Clemson game, all those penatlies, said nothing to will friend or to the players. I pray I am wrong, I live among lot of USC fans and I hate it, I am 6o years old and until the past 3 years have never had to endure to BS from a Carolina fan. Nowthey think they are the greatest program in the nation and that they have tradition.
No I am not happy, and I dispise our coachng staff I dispised them last year as well even though we won many games, we still sucked and we luck we have a weak schedule.

duck wrote: dO YA'LL really think BB is going to change his game plan for SC, we will run up the middle 3 times to try and establish the run and then punt. SC gets the ball and CS either run it in for a TD or hits a wide open receiver. Here we go falling in the hole tring to play catch up and they blitz and come after AM every down. Save this post and I promise you this is how it will play out come Saturday. SC will defer we get the ball an do just what I said. You can take it to the bank.

I do think Bobo will change a few things Duck. Will he suddenly become the "greatest playcaller on earth" no chance. Still, I do give him enough credit to BELIEVE he learned some things from last year's beatdown in Columbia & to have also learned a bit more from the opener against Clemson. That said, you might be exactly right & he changes nothing & we get the same result as last year vs. USC. Still, like Wartdawg, I am choosing to discuss the needed changes & optimistically (maybe foolishly) HOPING to see some positive changes come Saturday...only 3 more days to find out!

Goose, glad to hear you mention stop the run. My friend, you have me in that camp. Would hope to see a lot of 4 man fronts with the 5th man coming (or watching). TG does some of that, but like you, I want us to make them throw the football, more than usual.

At some point our young pups need to be on the "island" and learn to work their magic. Once upon a time it was called "on the job training".

Don't really know how effective JHC will be in the starting lineup, but we do know that he has talent. Some seem to think that we would have done a bit better against Clemson with JHC. Maybe so, but Clemson is history in my book at this point, time for South Carolina now as LimeyDawg mentioned at the beginning.

Goose, have every reason to believe that Ramik is going to shine, first real starting opportunity and against a very good football team. 13 tackles, nothing to be ashamed of. He will make us proud, really good person.

Probably some have seen this clip, but . . . .
