We're all good, Buc. I know what you're saying. It's just hard for me to accept that richt is the best man for the job when, like I said, our team is making the same mistakes over and over and over. If say, our O-line showed improvement one year, then say, the next, our tackling skills improved, then maybe the next, by default, our offensive production would improve, as of course so would our defensive stats, and our offensive playbook could be more creative. I just haven't really seen any improvement in any area that needs it in several years. In fact, in reality, they're probably getting worse because we have so much experience on offense, and our DC has been here for many years. Defensive inexperience falls back to recruiting the right people, and the right # of people.
Just fed up, allowed myself to believe the hype this year, which I rarely do, and really not much has changed that I can see.

sflanagan, I would think if we go into a nose dive, then in my opinion, we start at the top and move in whatever direction it leads us. That would in my opinion put the ball in McGarity's basket. McGarity has been mentioned in this thread, once I think. Job hiring and job security comes under his control.
McGarity and Richt have had more than one conversation since our Athletic Director arrived on campus. Mac has his eyes and ears open, this is the goose that lays the golden eggs. We can and have had discussions about student passes and other things related to empty seats. Too many seats not occupied, not a good situation for anyone concerned with Georgia football, Mac knows this as does our new president.
There is much more to Saturday between the Hedges than the game itself. SEC knows this and therefore . . . . Welcome Mickey and Minnie. Disney knows where to find the Golden Eggs. They are very good at that. It is not an Easter Egg Hunt, the eggs belong to Disney.
Football has changed and it will continue to change. Players will be paid, there will not be a NCAA governing force in the near future. M&M will get theirs, you and I will pay for all expenses concerned with football. While we are doing that now, the only thing that will change . . . . cost. Fall afternoons of college football soon enough will change, parking and tailgating will not be a problem. Sad.
Title of this thread . . . . Why we lost. We, you and I, college football supporters are going to lose a lot more than one football game. Sorry to get off subject again. Someone has to get on the horse and sound the news, only this time it is not the British are coming. It is a couple of Mice. I said that. Soon enough the rest on this board and others will become believers. Putting ones head in the sand does not remove the problem.
South Carolina and Steve Spurrier. Georgia coaches, might be time to end this irritating problem. Spurrier and the Cocks win, already lost to Clemson, watch the recruiting board closely. Young football players are very impressionable.

Everybody KNEW the D was going to play like this....especially the secondary, so why be surprised?
For me, the bottom line is we got beat buy THE better QB and penalties/ANDREWS !!! What's up with Andrews???....3 major, drive stopping penalties.
The better QB usually win the game.

Why surprised at the D play....
Well... because we always get caught up in CTG hype...
Defense wasn't great last year either folks, and we were loaded with talent....
Talent that couldn't tackle, maintain gaps, and as a result... stop the run.
Then in the off season we said maybe new blood was what we needed.... I mean after all. we've
got CTG, right?
Looked the exact same, and no I don't excuse it because of suspensions.
