Wartdawg, I try hard not to lay too much on the players, but as has been said, times have changed. That particular play really caught more than your attention and mine. Here is one for Will Friend, replaced said player with Houston. Houston got beat, but coach made a move. If it was left up to me, Houston would be my starting left tackle for South Carolina.

I am so disappointed, and I like most felt things would be different this year. I see no change in AM, me for one wish he'd left for the NFL. I have never been a AM fan, nice guy, but a choke artist in big games. He always fumbles and throws a pick in every big game. We still after all these years do not know how to tackle, the shoulder tackle on the long TD was pathic, I am so tired of these guys diving and trying to knock them down, use your damn arms and wrap him up. I really don't think TG is the answer for our D, we can not stop the run, and CS and their running back will wear of out come Saturday. I would love to think that we will bounce back and beat USC, but from what I've seen and the way CS and throws and runs the ball, that it will be a long day for us come Saturday. You know SS would love to hag 45 on us in our own stadium. With all the hype and expected greatness, I feel we will be in for a long year. Just like 2008 when we started no 1 in the nation, we did not live up to that either. Could it be that we really don't have the coaches to take us to the promise land. But as most believe, that alum, win 8 to 10 games go bowling, we are satisfied.

Duck, for you, especially for you, I hope that we get a win against South Carolina.

AM at one point had the look of a deer in the headlights. Your calls on AM have been on point most or many times over a long period. Can't disagree with that.

Will add this. When Clemson lined up defensively and had their left defensive end roll back into coverage . . . . how many times have any of us seen that? That was a great call by Brent Venable.

Most or many coaches that I have watched would not have made that call. Why? Their defensive front was kicking out butts. Venable knew what he was doing, dialed up a play that is not often seen, result, interception. That is not an excuse, it was a great defensvie call in a situation that 9 out of 10 defensive coaches would not know or could make. Clemson scored when they hired Brent Venable, he will be tough on the recruiting trail. Fact.

Takes me to this . . . . Chris Wilson is also a Oklahoma alum. At this point I don't have a lot to base what Chris Wilson will mean to Georgia. Willing to wager that this week, the defense from top to bottom will go through film over and over.

Duck, if South Carolina comes to Athens with the same attitude that they opened 2013 with, there could very well be some surprises. We find out this Saturday between the Hedges just where we are for the 2013 Season.

Wouldn't it be something if AM lights it up for Duck. My wish, fingers crossed.

I'm just tired of year after year thinking this has to be the year that everything aligns up and we win it all! After all we recruit some of the best position players in the Nation, so we have to win it all sooner or later right... But instead year after year we as fans are left making up excuses, pointing fingers and scratching our heads! I'm a proud UGA fan and I have been since 80' and I will be till death! But good grief it's tough knowing what kind of talent we have year after year and we can't win the big one! Anyone that follows our program and college football knows how much talent is at UGA! So why the heck can't we get it together????

Yea I'm bummed to the max, just like I have been many times in the past decade. But I will NEVER give up on my team, just NOT in my genes! I just think the players and the fans deserve better... No I'm NOT satisfied with 8-10 wins every season! We recruit some of the best players in the Nation year after year and they deserve to be coached up to their full potential! I'm gonna reign my self in right here...

With that being said, I still feel like we have a punchers chance to win it all. Yeap some adjustments have to be made this week! But the freaking talent is their and I know from the top to the bottom our program wants it bad! We gotta bring it Saturday fellows and then never look back! It's a long season and it doesn't feel like the Boise St loss felt to me...

I had this bed that I stubbed my toe on every single morning as I fumbled for the bathroom. Every morning. Hurt like hell. Each time I did it I said to myself, "There's no way that's happening tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be perfect and my toe won't be bruised." Guess what? Just got a new bed and, lo and behold, haven't stubbed my toe one time. Not once. Thought to myself as I was making the bed this morning "Man, this is just like winning the national championship. Yessir, I'm on my way now."
Right after that, I turned around and caught the corner of the bed on my thigh and now I have a bruise the size of a half dollar and a limp.
Just saying.

"The freedom of individuals to verbally to oppose or to challenge police actions without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state."
