Yeah Buc I was wrong dead wrong about Theus, can admit that for sure. But all the blame cannot be put on him. The whole O line played like a bunch of rookies. Totally out skilled by a lesser defensive front, and that my friend boils down to 1 thing.....COACHING.....you stated yourself the Left Guard was tipping the snap count, I have not gone back and watched but if you say so then I say it is true, you know your O line for sure....and that my friend is again COACHING......should have been caught way before game time......so where do we put the blame.....not on some 18 to 20 year old young men....at least I don't....
And also Buc Saban recruits the TOP Talent from the state of GEORGIA not just Nationally.
ogredawg, never let it be said that you are one to hide. Know differently, have read every word you have ever placed on this board. 99/100 I am totally in agreement with you and our opinions, not that it means anything, hell have yet to see one member on this board get it right every time.
I do understand the offensive line play, maybe a little more than that, but offensive line I know wins and loses football games. Tell me if I am wrong, this 2013 line was supposed to be our saving grace. They got the ever loving spit beat out of them in Memorial Stadium.
Mentioned in another thread prior to the game. Said anyone interested take a look at the Nebraska game in Orlando, predicted that the Clemson game would be pretty much a repeat. Think thriller and I had that discussion, started with quarterback talk.
Difference between a 3/4 and a 4/3 is pretty simple and that is the reason that many young men want to play in a 4 man front. Less book work, not the same gap responsibilities.
Anyone thinks that we will not be ran on, time for you and I to make a wager. Many say and I agree to a point that football is not runfootball, it is passfootball. That is what the NFL wants. Period. What changes that is which is easier to run on, the 3 or the 4. That as ogredawg says, comes down to coaching.
Bouncing around, have more to say. Enjoyed reading so far, like the piss and vinegar, and it appears that we have several potential college coaches posting here, just need a chance to run a program or participate in same.
ogredawg, you have pulled me back more than once here, that I appreciate, I don't get hard feelings, it is about the well being of our football team. Who could possibly disagree with that?
Get the chance, check our left guard, shoulder pad rise and then set, did it the entire game. Watched the defensive line, they were motioning to each other. Crowd noise one thing, AM another slip, thought Bobo had moved further along.
Just an old man that has watched a lot of Georgia Football. Go back through every coach that has spent time in Athens, same things have been said. More noticeable now because of the internet. My opinion.
ogredawg, with Nick Saban it works like this . . . . ever go into any airport terminal and look at the arrival/departure board? Nick Saban works the same way, except for this . . . . "they" come to him.
All for now.
