Greetings, Dawg fans, once again from the big apple, one of my least favorite places on earth except for the fact I'm visiting my daughter.
Anyway, same old story, huge dreams, huge disappointment on a national stage, and once again solidifying our hold on the claim of being the nation's most delusional fan base. Can you imagine, talk of a national championship, and can't even win the first game. Embarrassing. To me, anyway. Not to say some of these kids didn't play their hearts out, but the lack of fundamentals in our team is humiliating. Can't tackle, can't block, choking under pressure, senior QB seemingly unaware a play clock is used in football.
Oh well, there's always next year (again). And BTW, I don't consider myself a glass half empty kind of guy. I consider myself a glass half pint kind of guy. Optimists are half full, pessimists are half empty, realists will point out it's a half pint.
And I know we'll hear all the "we just need to regroup and get ready for SC", and the "we're still 0-0 in the SEC" and blah blah. I hope our guys can regroup, but if you think we're taking this loss hard, just think about the psyche of an 18 year old who was playing.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
