Wow, I must say I am shocked by the lack of respect for Clemson in this thread. I certainly expect UGA fans to believe they will win this game, as myself and other Clemson fans have every reason to believe Clemson will win this game. Some of these predictions are laughable at best!! For those looking for a blowout or comfortable win against the Tigers this weekend, you might want to have some strong drinks on hand. You're in for a rude awakening.
I'm not here to convince anyone that Clemson will win this game. Just felt obligated to post because this thread is homerism at it's best. Take off the red-colored shades for a second, and see this game for what it truly is. A very even contest in which both teams have LEGITIMATE reasons to worry that this thing won't end very well.
Just got back last night, and wanted to stop back by. In no means is this to throw it in your faces, or anything like that, but I did think it was important to restate my pre-game comment on a site that I am new to. I honestly figured my response would get your typical trolling type responses, but obviously that wasn't the case. In fact, I decided to not come back here for one simple reason, and that is I wasn't trying to convince anyone that Clemson would win the game. The only reason I even posted was due to unrealistic expectations of a blowout, which BTW, I called out fellow Tiger fans on our boards that expected a Clemson blowout. I just never saw this game being a blowout either way.
On to the game. It went about how I expected, and in the end came down to just a few crucial plays that Clemson was able to make. The turnovers and the pressure our front 4 were able to generate was ultimately the reason why Clemson came out on top.
I want to comment on my interaction with UGA fans before, during, and after the game. 100% class act all the way around from everything I saw from your fans. I hope you enjoyed your visit to Tigertown, and hope this game happens more frequently. It's an absolutely great southern rivalry, and I'm glad the rest of the nation was able to get a front row seat.
Now beat the hell out of the chickens!!!! I'll be rooting for yall the rest of the way.
