Nebraska gave up fewer yards passing than any other team in football last year. Murray lit them up for almost 500 yards. Climpsn gave up HUGE yards last year against some of the weakest offenses in football. Gurley and Marshall will bring those safeties up close. Mitchell, Conley, Scott-Wesley, Wooten, and apparently Davis, will be behind them - :woohoo:

No disagreement here. Will say this . . . . Clemson coaching staff is fully aware of Davis. What Richt is doing adds up to one thingy . . . . The Coaching Game before the Game is on. :)

Guys, we're going to score about 40 or more on the Tigers D I'm convinced. The only question I can't seem to answer in my own mind is how effective our D is going to be against Boyd & Watkins & company?

I am actually glad that one lone Clemson fan came over here to post & while he shouldn't be surprised by our collective confidence levels, I don't think anyone in here has ruled out the possibility that Clemson could actually win this game. I'm confident in this group of Dawgs but I am not so disrespectful of Clemson that I don't give them a punchers chance. I'm fairly certain that if we turn the ball over more than once & give up several quick TDs (i.e. big plays) then yeah, we could be in for a long, frustrating Sat. night. That said, I don't think they beat us without winning the turnover battle &/or hitting 3 or more big plays. So, I really do like our chances of keeping one if not both of these things from happening.

I am SO READY for 6PM to get here to watch the battle of the Carolinas...Hopefully the ol' cry baby from that Yankee state to our South has a few visor tosses tonight! Obviously, I wouldn't lose any sleep if UNC pulls off the upset but I just want the game to stay close for 4 qtrs. forcing SC to keep their starters in & to open up more of their playbook for our coaches to review on tape next week. GO DAWGS!!!

Gillette, your motto has a nice ring to it...let's make your version our official motto here on the forum.

Goose, going to be interesting watching the Carolina/Carolina game tonight. One thing that I am particularly interested in is watching Clowney and his switching positions on the line. Will he do some or more of what Jarvis did with our team? Some players really don't like moving from right to left and vice versa.

Great lineup for a Thursday night football game. Saturday will be nuts. :)

The word I'm hearing is that they are predicting 250,000 people in Clemson on Saturday. 80K+ will be at the game. I can't imagine where the rest of those people are going to be.
