thriller, also watched our opener against Boise State after you had mentioned them in your post. Next came South Carolina last season. This group will not fall into the same trap that the other two did. Many on the offensive side participated in both games, experience should not be a problem.
I remain one of those that think in this direction . . . . AM, Marshall, Gurley, Hicks, two tightends, experienced offensive line with backups. Then I look at Clemson and ask myself one question . . . . Would I trade for their offensive unit, including of course Tajh?
If there are injuries in the game, which team has the deeper depth chart?
Looks to me that we score 40 or more. After a couple of quarters, as has been said on this board, depth on the defense will prove too much for the Tigers.
More and more it looks like 42-17 or 45-20 to me. Believe that is a 25 point difference either way.
Edit: Guess I should mention we have receivers that are special. These guys will drive the Clemson DB's nuts. Don't believe we have two receivers that are exactly alike.
Watkins is a fine receiver, no doubt. He will face a defensive team that is aware of his talents and will disrupt much of what he does against lesser athletes.
Buc scores another one for the Red and Black. No way I swap our receiving corps for Clemson's. Still do not believe that a quarterback and one great receiver can defeat this group of Dawgs. Just don't.
