Pulled this from another thread on this board . . . .
I'm not here to convince anyone that Clemson will win this game. Just felt obligated to post because this thread is homerism at it's best. Take off the red-colored shades for a second, and see this game for what it truly is. A very even contest in which both teams have LEGITIMATE reasons to worry that this thing won't end very well.
Ever take the time to look at the responses of the Clemson faithful after their victory over LSU? Homerism, I have read many posts from the Clemson faithful, like throwing rocks in a glass house when you mention homerism.
The last statement in your paragraph above is the closest you have come to being real. The win will be decided between the lines. Interesting you post here and the first thing you do is start comparing.
Clemson will run a lot of plays, we know that. There is however one factor that might change the number of plays that Clemson will run. If you don't have serious depth on the defensive line, break out the smelling salts, more than two running backs are going to bring it. Might take a series or two, but after that, the game will be on, and if you will allow me this, AM will start picking your DB's apart. Take that to the bank. Couple of tightends that love contact and both catch the football.
National media and the talking heads seem to be jacked up, both teams will be also. Lot at stake for both teams.
