1. Does AM check off to those bombs when he sees one on one coverage and he knows our guy should beat their guy?? CMR gave DG that option to check off at the line of scrimmage.......is it Bozo calling for ALL of those bombs and screens or is AM checking off on many of the original call??
2. Is our OL that average CMR/BOZO/AM has to keep calling for max protection with the FB's/TE/RB's???
3. Did we KNOW we could win this game with using only the 1st page of the playbook so we don't show Mizzou anything?.....is that why no TE passes, intermediate throws, slants or swing passes??...OR pitching the ball out wide to our talented/fast RB's??
4. Did CTG just show vanilla defensive fronts, very little stunting/blitzes, no mixing up coverages etc and it backfired because of several starters out??
5. No matter how much emphasis was put on intensity, focus and player concentration, no matter how much they preached/screamed at the players......isn't it still very difficult as a player to really get that fired up playing a "Buffalo" even though as a player you keep telling yourself to get it in gear??
Imo......all of us on this forum have played competitive sports and KNOW what I speak of in #5. We've all played against someone or some team that was much inferior to you or your team and you know there is zero chance of you/your team losing. You know you are going to win....your opponent knows you are going to win......and your opponent knows that you know you are going to win. So, you struggle, underperform.....try to tell yourself to get going and no matter how much you preach it to yourself, it is still a hard thing to give 100% focus, intensity and max ability. We all know this DOES happen or maybe you've never played sports on an organized level.
My bottom line is I will definitely know the answers to all the above after next week......then move forward.

1. If a QB keeps checking out of the correct play, it's a coaches job to stop him.
2. Unfortunately, yes.
3. Since when have such things EVER been in the CMB playbook? Slants? Swing passes? I remember when we used to run a wheel play . . . haven't seen that in at least 7 years . . . not kidding either. And BTW, we were NOT looking like the team that would eventually win the game at the half. If this WAS the case, I needed to see a change . . . there WAS no change, we just got luckier running the same cr@p we had been running.
4. When your vanilla D gives up 94 yards in a singe drive, time to break out the Rocky Road. Let's at least see some strawberry. I guess against Michigan State we also wanted to stay "vanilla" with less than a minute. Right now, I'm afraid we ain't exactly Baskin Robins on D.
5. On my WORST DAY I recognized if I was getting my @$$ kicked in. There IS such a thing as stepping up a gear and showing a little PRIDE, even MID-GAME. We did NEITHER.
duck's been saying this for a long time. I hate to admit that duck has been right ALL THIS TIME. Only kicking BUTT for the next 11 games in a ROW will wash this nasty stench off.

On your 3,4 and 5 answers, I truly believe Buffalo had zero chance of winning that game and even though the coaches/players will never admit it they knew it too. That may be why the offense and D showed nothing to Mizzou. Our players were simply too far superior to LOSE the game, 22 point win was the worst possible scenario imo.
And I certainly believe in #5. I've been there and you probably have as well, where it just doesn't take 100% effort to win the game/match......you preach/yell at yourself to get it in gear but it just doen't come to fruition. I've seen this many times in sports.....
What I'm most worried about today is not having our starters on D and Theus getting hurt. Guys had better step up next week.
Btw.....love your avatar.

I haven't given up on the season, but it appears nothing has changed with this team, and I feel less upbeat about our chances than I did yesterday at 11:59.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
