Yes.. that is it in a nutshell. We have talented players.. we make big plays. That's great, but not if that is all you've got.
It's certainly not consistency or play selection doing much for us.

I'm not saying big plays are a bad thing....I'm saying that so many plays that are designed to be big plays are a sign of desparation, and smack of being pathetic against a team like Buffalo. There is a difference between an off tackle run that breaks for a 55 yard TD and a 50 yard pass attempt 10 times.

On a lighter note, it's late in the first half and Florida is tied with Bowling Green. Maybe that will distract the college football world from our humiliation. But if I was QB James Franklin, I'd be looking at Alex Zordich's stats running the ball and giggling like a little school girl. He's going to shred our vaunted, Grantham-the-greatest-coach-ever-led-defense.
