Judging by the clips of his talent it could be a little confusing for some defenses to have an extra QB in the game that can run with abandon if necessary,or throw the ball if need be. I think there are some real possibilities that we need to explore.

Bauta will be lucky to see the field this year. I forsee a redshirt for him this year. Talk all you want about seeing the O change. Richt and Bobo run the pro type O with a little spread thrown in. That is the way it is. No kool aid drinking here.

Hurts, but you are right.

All of us will have a closer look at some point during the season. Maybe with the returning "seasoned players" we will reach heights that we have not seen in a very long time.

ogredawg, there is a lot of talent on both sides of the ball without too much "juggling" and going to the "wishing well". I really hope that AM has learned a few things about seasons past. Know that I have given him a pass, time to bring the "A" game, no excuses. In this off season AM has mentioned many times the amount of "talent" that he has surrounding him. Guess it is time for the coaching staff to agree with AM and get this group on a very competitive groove.

Truly is going to be an interesting year . . . . with this much talent, no place for anyone to hide in Athens. All eyes, and that includes many folks from around the country will be paying close attention. I am excited, do believe that we have the talent to accomplish some extraordinary things. Ball is not in my court although I sometimes like to "make believe".

Just not going to get excited about the O side of the ball Buc. The coaches on that side of the ball have a lot to show me before I will change my tune. Been there done that over the last several years. Yes we have the players and the talent but do we have the coaching and the leadership to take this team to the next level. The answer is yes to that on the D side but the question mark looms large on the O side. Make or break for my beloved Dawgs this year. I just do not have the confidence that CMR and Bobo will make the changes and utilize the talent that they have.

I can do nothing more than say that I respect what you say. You don't waver, that comes from honesty.

I would like to pose a couple of questions.

If our team goes 10-4 and the results of the losses point directly to the offense, what would be the answer?

If we were to lose to South Carolina and Florida, what?

The positive side of that for me is this . . . according to the messages that I get about our football team, we are loaded with talent. Know that I continue to come back to the talent, some things have to be said. With equal or better talent on the field UGA should have a very good 2012 Season. I hope so.

Awesome thoughts guys. This is another really good thread.

Wlayton, no I do not think the wishbone would be a successful offense on a regular basis in the SEC. One dimensional offenses struggle for the most part against SEC defenses.

Did a lot of positive things on offense last year in my opinion. AM is setting records left and right, and if he throws for another 3,000yds this year, that will be 3 consecutive seasons. No QB in the history of this league has ever done that. Not Wuerful, Not Manning, Not Greene. We had a frosh RB who would have rushed for a 1,000yds if he had displayed the lesat bit of maturity. Had a game plan against the No1 team in the country in the SEC Champ game that could have put the game away early. We led the league in total offense. IMO you don't do those things with a complete idiot as an offensive coordinator. Like I have said, I don't mind the occasional wrinkle.

With all being said, I am not sure any OC would do much better. This league, over the last 3 years, has been a beast on the defensive side like college football has never seen. At least in my time. Done a lot of research as well and cannot find a league that has ever been as good on defense for a run like the SEC.

At times, I think some don't give enough credit to the defensive dominance in this league. Maybe it is just me.

The answer at least for me Buc is to "Play to Win" not "play to not lose" like we did last year. Win the East outright not back into it like last year, then win the SEC would be a big improvement. But first and foremost get rid of the "Play to not lose" attitude that CMR and Bobo have had over the last several years.
