Time to start the analysis . . .

I certainly understand what you are saying growl, we just seem to always start the year so SLOW. With Mizzou coming up at their house, the 1's had better be ready.

My feeling is that we will dominate, and this will be a chance to see how we handle a "decent" running game, in as much as their RB might be okay. I still predict our D will be playing the 2s and 3s before the half. wlayton, you are right - great opportunity to get all the timing right - something we did not really have a chance to do last year before South Carolina, and it showed. I think the offense will benefit the most from this game.

Hate the cupcake games, but they are good for a warm up and they are good for the oppositions bank account. $$$

Gotta also agree with growl - right or wrong, you have to blow away the weak teams. Remember 2008.

Buffalo may have a good running game in "their league" but their OL has a zero chance of getting any movement against our front 7. CTG can and will shut them down completely......like comparing apples and oranges, imo.

I will say that in the past UGA has made every effort to protect the 1's in games like this and I don't expect to see it change now. The 1's may play a little longer just to stay sharp, but I don't expect to see many of them in the 3rd quarter, unless something freakish happens.

Just read the comments by Rodney Garner on this front seven. It sounds like he is pretty happy right now. I hope it stays that way. He has DEFINITELY coached some premium talent in his day, and he seems to like what he has in the kennel. Like I said in an earlier thread, I hope this pans out.

I think wlayton is right - make SURE you have your rhythm and assignments clear in this one. Focus needs to be on assignments, rhythm and execution. No slacking. Mizzou is NOT going to be easy. My analysis of the Tigers will be in depth, because they are a quality team looking to rack up their first SEC game in the "W" column, and that will happen if we aren't 100% prepared. Timing has to be there, and we can't make mistakes like we did against the 'Cocks last year and still hope to win. We gave that game away, and if we are in a giving mood, Mizzou will be taking, I'm sure.
