Aside for the earliest of CMR's seasons, which happen to coincide with Donnan recruits, Van Gorder coaching AND CMR's most successful periods, would you NOT say this is where Mark has FAILED?...

What have you seen that would lead you to believe that NC_Dawg? Most here have said for weeks now that he would be fine if not for the inferior OL play,so, I'd be willing to bet that more than one of the teams in the top 25 would swap today. GATA! GO DAWGS!

Not wanting to be argumentative or any such thing, but, was wondering if there were a certain attribute that QB's have that he's missing if he wants to go on and be an NFL QB. GO DAWGS! GATA

NC_Dawg, I feel that the folks running this football team want to do some things differently, not only quarterback. The problem at this point is our team has some problems that need to be resolved. Richt's job to step up.

Hutson can definitely throw the pigskin, that can be a beautiful thing . . . . until some dude from the defense lays one on the leader. Would hate to be in Tennessee's shoes at this point. Had a terrific quarterback as far as throwing the ball, he could not however get out of his own way.

More and more the quarterbacks are taller, faster, and have serious arms. Auburn proved that last season, and knowing that you are a Panthers fan . . . . same quarterback is doing well in the NFL.

At some point, (my opinion) the offensive coaches have to move away from what they did with quarterbacks in the 90's and early 2000's. The game has changed so much, not sure it is recognized.

To answer your question directly. A lot of good college quarterbacks are not going to the pros, along with many others that play and wear the same colors at different positions. Not a lot of jobs open in the NFL. The thing that AM has going for him is . . . . he puts his nose in the books. Others should consider that angle. :)

Been around these parts for A LONG TIME...This old Dawgs got some thick skin!...I can argue with the best of them...Never take things personal...So hit me up!!!!

Who he? Murray?...If so, IMVHO, Murray does NOT possess the skill to be a vertical threat. This has been demonstarted repeatedly this season and last. Moreover, AM has shown the propensity to just "chuck" the ball and risk throwing into double and triple coverage, rather than tossing it away. TBH, I cringe when Murray goes deep! This is not something that I feared with Stafford, Shock, Greene or even Cox! Another issue is his height. He is rather undersized for an SEC and certainly an NFL type QB. Now that's not to say that small QB's can't compensate for their lack of stature in other areas. For this I give AM props for his wheels, but w/o the vertical threat, I suspect he will go the way of DG...warm an NFL bench for a year or two and become a coach!
