Improvement Really ?

It's just frustrating to keep hearing about patience and improvement whenever we are getting on
our offensive coaches. Some seem to be looking at this season in a vacuum as if the previous
couple of years are to just be forgotten.

I think we've been pretty patient, and have given the offense plenty of time. By my calculations,
we've been patiently waiting on improvement since 2009. Some have even been calling out the
offensive inconsistencies before then. "Well we lost AJ and anyone is going to suffer when you
lose a player like that." Okay, then explain 2010 when we had AJ. Okay he was suspended.. lets go back to 2009 when we also had AJ. Then the excuse is Joe Cox. Explain to me how 'Bama loses
senior QB McElroy, A Heisman back in Ingram, and Julio Jones and then comes back sitting at #2 in the
nation after dropping 38 on both Arkansas and Florida... putting up points in the second half as
they did in the first.

I'll even give anyone that we've got O-line depth problems.. but who is responsible for that?

All of this is just a bunch of excuses. I'm tired of accepting excuses.

If we finish strong.. we can all sit back and reevaluate, tempering our joy with the fact we had
a good schedule. Today however... I'm tired of writing down all the excuses for our OC.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

I Think AM is trying to force the ball to Charles way too much and problem is everyone knows it. Does not have AJ or Durham so Im thinking he is trusting Charles and being stubborn about it. Other WRs have been open. Also he has not long to make his decisions before getting unloaded on. He is ggod QB. just needs some talking to from CMR and a OLINE. IMO GOOOO DAWGSSSS!!!!

The best O Line in the country and probably this year's Heisman Trophy winner. Bama's defense doesn't only get turnovers, they turn them into points.

AD5, I was just answering your question, as to what I believed, but thanks for your play by play analysis. How did Green and Durham excel? Green is talented enough to overcome coaching and Durham stepped up. But how were either successful in your mind when they had an inexperienced, freshman QB throwing to them? According to your question, we shouldn't have counted on him this year, much less last year. And I didn't expect Samuel or Thomas to break out, but they are serviceable enough to sub for Crowell, and that's always been Richt's MO. I wasn't saying the TE's haven't been used--I was again, answering your question about what I expected. You asked it, those were my expectations for the O. Not really sure how you can interject your opinion into my opinion that's answering your question.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

You know guys, when you really think about it.....our recruiting classes as of late haven't been THAT good until CMR got off his duff and recruited the "Dream Team" and the classes after them (2012 and 2013 started). Prior to this past class, we had some down years and lost on some big time recruits.

Maybe, just maybe we are seeing those lack of results right now??.....like the OL, WR's and RB's?
