Improvement Really ?

Hey sadlerdawg, not getting into THIS discussion but had to say this......

Samuel sucks as a RB.....terrible. Decent receiver and blocker but imo not serviceable at all as a RB. I cringe everytime he comes in the game.

OK, I was just answering the question, not starting his Heisman campaign.

Granted.

Now who is it that is responsible for us not having a capable O-line this year? We didn't have
that last year either when we also had depth problems.

We lost Green and Durham, but good coaching collegiate staffs prepare for that and have players
ready to step up. The old saying is reloading, not rebuilding.

I was just on yahoo sports looking at rivals recruiting rankings dating back to 2007.. going
backwards beginning from the 2011 class, here is the report on UGA

2011 - #5
2010 - #15
2009 - #6
2008 - #7
2007 - #9

my only point on the argument against the quality of our players is who is responsible for
recruiting? The coaches. Twist it any way you want and it comes right back down to them.

I know we lost Ealey and Caleb, but to be honest they were a fumble or blown block waiting
to happen last year. It's not like we lost something really special there. I don't think
we're a lot worse off for losing those two.

I'm not twisting anything and don't want to be much into this discussion.

I'm not too big on recruiting rankings plus guess I should have noted that of our prior classes, there aren't many of them still in Athens either.......whether kicked off the team, transferred, flunked out etc etc. Not too many "sterling" players in Athens from those classes.

Now the Dream Team class and 2012 and 2013 look promising (assuming they are around a while).
